Congratulations! That's exciting! Be sure to check every day because ours went from In Transit to Ready in one day, which I wasn't expecting considering it went to the embassy in Delhi.

Hi all!

i have my visa interview on TUESDAY!! So naturally I'm starting to over think every little detail.

For my income on my I-134f, what income should I list? The amount I'm currently making OR the amount on my last years tax return?

On my last years tax return, I made 23k after taxes (I was a student for half the year), however, I am currently working in Australia making 70k AUD (50k usd) and amount to move back to the USA and start with a firm making 50k USD.

Any insight on which income (current or last year) I should state?

Your current income should be on the i134.

If u have the w2 and 1040 for the previous year as well I'd advise you put it in the package as well. My fiancé switched jobs last year so the figures on the forms didn't match so they asked me about it so I explained.

So from my experience I will advise anyone to avoid the question and just have the documentation.

Good luck!!!

From what I'm aware of, London don't need every single bit of evidence for the i134. They accept two or so of them. Someone on here took paystubs, bank statement and employer letter and was accepted with that.

We have every bit of evidence anyway. I was just making sure they hadn't asked for the beneficiaries tax info, because that would have been unexpected :)

Does foreign income count? Did you check into that? If not, you'll need to get a co sponsor.

Also, are you sending in proof you have ties to an address in the US, or have made steps already to move back. I too am a petitioner living outside the US, and I know I have to prove domicile.

We've definitely not had an easy ride that's for sure, hopefully we will hear something in the next couple weeks!

I'm really hoping I'm one of the lucky ones that gets an approval after a week (definitely being optimistic) :jest:

I hope that from here on out it will be quick for you.  Just so you know, there are still many appointment days left in August for Visa interviews in London, including as late as the 30th.  If things move quickly for you from here, you might still be able to snag one of those.  It also looks like they haven't opened the September dates yet so I'm still going to keep my fingers crossed for you that you don't have to move your flight  :D

Aww thankyou! That's so sweet of you to keep a look out for me! I really really hope I can still catch my flight but if it's maybe only a couple weeks delayed then that's okay, if I can get there before the 22nd then that would be great (The walking dead starts on the 22nd and we're excited to watch it together on American time rather than UK time ) it's the little things eh? But no really I'm not to worried right now, I have a really good feeling at the moment, I've seen quite a few people who got the same RFE as we did who then were approved within a week of USCIS receiving it, so I'm crossing my fingers!
