Congratulations! I'm slightly jelly, ours in the following Wednesday. The best of luck to you!

I'm really jealous. Our interview is August 30th. So much time ahead of us to tap fingers and hope time flies by

After almost 8 months and an absolutely crazy last 24 hours my fiancée has his interview tomorrow! We were originally scheduled for Sept 4th but we contacted the embassy asked to be put on the waitlist for a closer interview date and contacted our congressman. After 10 business days of waiting for a response form the embassy our congressman sent a follow up email Wednesday at 10am. Wednesday at 4:50pm a call came that the embassy had an opening for Friday!

My fiancée has yet to get his medical done so we were feeling a bit down because it was obvious there was no way to get it done with less than 48 hours. Congressman messaged the embassy saying we didn't have the medical done yet but that we would try to get it done for Friday. Embassy messages back saying it's not a big deal, come to the interview and drop off the medical once you receive it!

We are on our way! Fiancée is on his way to Santiago now for the interview tomorrow! We are so excited and hoping that everything turns out smoothly!

Congrats! I remember seeing you waiting for NOA2 months ago when I was waiting with the January folks. You waited for damn ages! Some of us got the royal screw from USCIS for whatever reason. Very happy for you.

When did you receive the RFE and when did you send it? They received mine within a few days of me mailing it out. I would call them and check if they received it since you have no updates 😩

You are so right!

I looked up some older threads  (2011) about Algeria and they said it was sent via email.....

Ugggghhhh.....I guess I will see  (if the NOA2 ever comes-_-)

Thank you!

Let see if any of you can help me. We did the e-request when the CSC processing date was updated to 15 of Feb.

Our NOA1 is 1st of Feb.

The Case History, in the Online USCIS tracker updated, with the following.

  • 07/15/2017
    sign_icon.png

On July 15, 2017, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SR11941700122CSC, was completed.

  • 07/15/2017
    sign_icon.png

On July 15, 2017, we sent a response to your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SR11941700122CSC.

  • 07/13/2017
    sign_icon.png

On July 13, 2017, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SR11941700122CSC, was assigned to an officer for response

The 07/15/2017 We also received an email saying:
"On 07/13/2017, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.
Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 days.
*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice , Request for Evidence, or Notice of Intent to Deny."

Yesterday the Case History updated again:

07/19/2017
sign_icon.png

On July 19, 2017, your inquiry about a notice that you did not receive, referral number WKD1881704396CSC, was assigned to an officer for response.

But now, no email no explanation... we have no idea what is that notice!!!

Any ideas???

Ahh, and the online tracker is still showing "Case Was Received"

I sent my request in on July 12th....the day it changed processing times to February 15. My request hasn't changed on the USCIS Website since then. Mine still says "assigned to an officer for response".

What I am worried about  (and what I am almost positive will happen) is.....now that they have rolled the date back to January 1st.....my inquiry will be void because NOW I am back "within normal processing times" (OMG....I have typed those words so often they show up on my word select and auto correct)

I am scared to call at this point.....I don't want to hear it again.....

I think I will be waiting for another two months for the NOA2.

Hi Guys,

Sorry to ask this again but my previous question was deeply buried and nobody answered in a different thread. I am just so worried to be tricked as nowadays there are a lot of fishing website.

Is http://www.ustraveldocs.com a legit site? If it is, why it is not .gov?

Is https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/ the site to pay the visa fee and make the visa interview appointment? Why it is not .gov?

Is https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/ the site for the DS160? Since it is .gov, I suppose it is all good.

This is quite confusing as such a simple thing requires so many strange sites. Are they all legit? Thanks!

Sorry, another question, my USC fiance never told USCIS or NVC my email address. If the consulate were to send an email to me as Packet 3, should I contact the consulate first? (USCIS and therefor NVC should have my postal address so if they were to post the Packet 3, that should not be a problem.)

Cheers!

Is so frustrating! We are calling USCIS in the morning.

I will let you know, even tho we are expecting same speech as always.

Maybe is a good idea for you to do an Infopass appointment?

We have schedule ours for 1st of August, that will be the date we reach the 180 days.

This is the site to fill out the DS-160, so you were correct

https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/

You should go to the Armenian sub page on VJ and get the details of where you make your appointments and pay. For me, it was all on the same link and done together.

On the I-129 petition, it asked for your email. I don't think it can be updated now, but call the NVC and/or the US Embassy in Armenia to ask.

Those two other pages don't look legitimate to me (non government, third party)

Another question for my UK peeps (sorry for so many lately!).  I am getting a little bit of a run around from Knightsbridge and was wondering if anyone who has attend the medical there already can help out/ease my mind.  I got the email instructions from them and I noticed the information about a Patient Summary being required.  Now I understand that normally this would be fairly easy to attain if you have a GP or have been to the doctor in the UK.  However, my fiancé has been living in the UK for less than 2 years and has never registered with a GP because he's never needed to visit a doctor during the last 2 years, except for now for the visa process.  I emailed Knightsbridge asking about this and letting them know he was going to go back to his home country, get a letter from one of his last doctor's there, and asking if this would be okay to fulfill the requirement.  The first response I got from them was very generic, and the person responding didn't seem to even read what I said.  They responded that my fiancé should contact his UK GP and ask for the Patient Summary and they provided two attachments to give to a UK GP about why it's necessary.  Okay, that would be all fine and great, except I already said that my fiancé doesn't have a GP in the UK!  I responded back again, pointing out the information that I included in the original email, and they just replied saying that this is a requirement for the visa and if he's not able to obtain this information, he should still attend the medical and discuss it with the doctor.  I understand that we're in a bit of a unique situation but surely this is not the first time that Knightsbridge has dealt with a non-UK citizen going through the visa process who doesn't have a GP and thus can't get a Patient Summary.  I feel like I'm going in circles with them right now trying to explain that he can't get a Patient Summary because one doesn't exist because he doesn't have a GP in the UK.  Any help/advice/magical ways to produce something that doesn't exist?  :D

That's not correct, all 3 pages mentioned are legit.

I am from Germany and had to work with all those pages during my process but I think it kinda depends on where you live.
