Congrats! Two weeks sounds just about right. From what I've read on other forums, most embassies usually issue in two weeks

Our embassy said 10 days. We were hoping about 5 or 6 days.

We received a text text yesterday and are waiting for our taxi now to go pickup the Visas. Interview was 10:00 Monday and our text to pickup was in the afternoon on Wednesday. Only 2 days later.

Do you have an interview appointment yet? Can't wait to see you cross the finish line. We just bought our airplane tickets. We leave 7/26 for Miami!

Take it with a grain of salt....completely different embassies.....

In Algiers it is the DS 160 receipt....from what I have learned there is no appointment letter sent in Algeria......

Did you guys get a packet 3 or 4?

Packet 4. I've heard from other Indian beneficiaries that they send an email.

Once you pass NOA2, it is amazing how much less stress is involved. I know is not the way for everyone. But if you have thoroughly done your due diligence, the rest is all down hill.

We just returned from picking up Wendy's Visa. I think many immigrants who have distrust in their government will find more comfort in ours. It was precious to see Wendy's eyes water when they handed her the Visa.

To those still waiting, may I make a suggestion? Don't let your Fiancé go through the interview process without you. One, they need your strength, courage and support. Two, this is such an incredible event in everyone's life. Like the birth of a child, who do they have to be there beside them to celebrate the joy of success or the unfortunate event of a decline.

May GOD BLESS our fellow VJ's as you finish the race!

Wayne y Wendy

Hello again my fellow UK Filers.  I think I did something wrong.  We followed the link from the London Embassy's website to fill out the DS160.  We completed it, signed it, and then got to the confirmation page but I didn't see anywhere to pay the fee for the DS160.  Do we have to pay a fee for it and if so, any idea where I might have messed it up?

There is no ds160 fee. You pay the fee when you schedule the interview. You need the AA number from the ds160 to schedule the interview. The fee is 265 usd.
