Hey guys, update on the process,

Had my interview yesterday at the London Embassy, I was allowed to take my phone in and they had wifi, good job too because I was in there 2 and a half hours. They called me to the window and asked for documents etc asked for I-134 and most recent tax return, which we did not provide in the packet because it wasn't listed as mandatory on the website, so that was a bit nerve wracking. Didn't  seem to matter though because we were APPROVED!!!! I was the last person of the day! Hope to get my passport back soon because I booked a flight in 10 days (I know it's a risk but it was a cheap one).

If anyone has any questions about the London process feel free to ask me, oh the interview was 2 mins long, asked me where did my fiancé and I meet? What does he do? where does he live? and what were the wedding plans?

Good Luck everyone, I'm routing for you all!!!!!!!(L)

Congratulations!!

How long did they say it would take you to get the passport back? Any other tips? My interview is tomorrow :)

Mine went to Junk too and I didn't realise! i called them back 2 hours later and they sent me another email and told me to check junk, Which I hadn't so I felt stupid when it was in there haha! Keep calling!

I finally got through to someone today.  They had really messed up the spelling of the email address and even my fiance's name.  Finally got it all corrected and got the email.  Thanks everyone!

Question for London embassy interview:

How many bits if evidence does the i134 need? I have heard London accept just one bit. (Pay stump, or bank statement, or letter from employer, etc)

Does the form need a wet signature or can my fiance email me it and then I print it out?

From all the reviews I've read of the London interview, one to two bits of evidence is sufficient.  I sent my fiance two recent pay stubs and a letter from my employer.  They may only want 1 of those but I wanted to make sure he had 2 just in case.

In terms of the wet signature, I'm not sure on that one.  Since my fiance doesn't have a printer, I just mailed him a copy of all of the documentation he needs to take to the interview which included the I-134 with a wet signature.  I really don't think they are going to look that closely at the document at London to see if it's an original or a photocopy but I could be wrong.

Take it with a grain of salt....completely different embassies.....

In Algiers it is the DS 160 receipt....from what I have learned there is no appointment letter sent in Algeria......

Did you guys get a packet 3 or 4?

The appointment letter in Tunisia is sent via email. It might be the same thing for Algeria. You need to check that Janet

Thanks for the reply! I've tried to contact London before on queries and I just got the "use the contact form online for questions" 😒

Yeah, I've heard they push that online form a bit but that they are usually pretty responsive to questions there.  We are going to be wrapping up the DS160 today and then will fill out the Notification of Applicant Readiness Form.  Once that's done, we will be on the hunt for an interview day.  Right now my fiance's medical is scheduled for August 7th and not sure what day we'll be able to get for an interview.  Luckily he gets 2 days off during the week so the trick will be finding a date that will work in his schedule but also allow enough time for the medical records to reach the embassy.  Right now we're hoping that we'll find an appointment for August 17th once we can schedule but, if not, then we'll shoot for the 21st.

Congrats! I have a question regarding the i134 form. What evidence did you take with the form? And does the form have to have wet signature or can it be signed on the computer and then emailed and printed out?

Thank you! My fiancé put together the packet and mailed it over, it was a copied signature not a wet one. We had letters of employment, a letter from the bank, pay stubs and bank statements. I gave them the whole thing and he flicked through it and gave me loads of things back saying he didn't need it all. I don't think they take it took seriously they just want to check the income is correct and have a job etc because they know the next step AOS requires a lot more evidence in the packet regarding income. Good Luck!

Cool! I'm stretching things out a bit until I wait for paperwork. Our case reached London on Monday 😊

Thanks for the info. I'm doing cosponsor as well so wanted to get the info. London aren't too strict on it from what I have heard. And wasn't sure if it had to pen signed or pc signed if that makes sense. Thank you
