Our packet was received 02/22, 06/21 sent RFE (my mistake, skipped a queation 😡) 06/29 they received RFE and no updates since 😭😭😭

RFE receipt to NOA 2 can take up to 30 days so you "should" get your NOA2 within the next 9 days.

Congrats in advance.

Are you sure that from RFE Receipt to NOA2 can take up to 30 days? and it's sure NOA2 already? Bcos mine we already sent our response but the tracker didn't update it yet. It shows that request for additional evidence was sent. no update after they received it.

After four weeks, I started to call NVC, thinking that the USCIS tracker was not updating and the NOA2 was lost in the mail. Nope. Fives weeks later, Nope. Six weeks later, Nope...

Then I started to call USCIS, nope. They would not do anything until it is outside normal processing time, which is 60 days.

Seventh week, nope. They would not do anything until it is outside normal processing time, which is 60 days.

Eighth week later, nope. Still 4 days to go. They would not do anything until it is outside normal processing time, which is 60 days.

On the 59 day, (July 3, since 4th is holiday), nope. They would not do anything until it is outside normal processing time, which is 60 days.

On the 60th day when they are on holiday (July 4th), I submitted online enquiry because it will have been outside 60 days when they are back to work. On July 5th, we were approved...

Long story short, wait until outside 60 days and then send online enquiry. I am not sure calling them would do anything, unless maybe you are good at negotiating and are able to get to Tier 2 at USCIS and convince them to do something on your case.

I think it is totally possible that I was the most unlucky one. And maybe that is as bad as it can get. I am sure most people would be in the middle range, and good luck to you!!!

Ok, I am going crazy trying to find an answer to this question... This might be embassy-specific, but it's worth asking you all...

I am researching what needs to happen next. I know we need to fill out the DS-160. Like everyone else, I'm not sure if we really need to wait until it says "ready" or if we can proceed now.

For the medical examination, everything I find online says to bring the "original appointment letter". Is that the visa interview appointment? The directions say to schedule the medical exam before the interview - so does he need to schedule the interview, then schedule the medical, attend the medical, then the interview?

Why can't this be straight-forward?!?! :bonk:

I used the London embassy, I submitted DS160 before the case was ready and there was no problem, I also scheduled my medial as soon as I got the NVC number so the case said 'at NVC', I even scheduled my interview before the case was ready! (the case became ready the next day) I attended the interview yesterday no problems, I don't know about your embassy but hope that helps?!

Hey guys, update on the process,

Had my interview yesterday at the London Embassy, I was allowed to take my phone in and they had wifi, good job too because I was in there 2 and a half hours. They called me to the window and asked for documents etc asked for I-134 and most recent tax return, which we did not provide in the packet because it wasn't listed as mandatory on the website, so that was a bit nerve wracking. Didn't  seem to matter though because we were APPROVED!!!! I was the last person of the day! Hope to get my passport back soon because I booked a flight in 10 days (I know it's a risk but it was a cheap one).

If anyone has any questions about the London process feel free to ask me, oh the interview was 2 mins long, asked me where did my fiancé and I meet? What does he do? where does he live? and what were the wedding plans?

Good Luck everyone, I'm routing for you all!!!!!!!(L)

Congrats! I have a question regarding the i134 form. What evidence did you take with the form? And does the form have to have wet signature or can it be signed on the computer and then emailed and printed out?

Question for London embassy interview:

How many bits if evidence does the i134 need? I have heard London accept just one bit. (Pay stump, or bank statement, or letter from employer, etc)

Does the form need a wet signature or can my fiance email me it and then I print it out?
