I posted this on the K1 main page, but I got one response and they said to read the guide. I did gaze at it, but as it's been mentioned, the guides on VJ are outdated and I rather get guidance from those going through or recently went through the application. It's long, so PLEASE, help where you can

I-134 help needed and any other tips and tricks. Using my father as co sponsor who is retired.

A- Do I put the USCIS number provided in the NOA1 on part 1 question 10 (USCIS online account number)? What about my father who is the co sponsor?
B- Do I enter information into part 1 question 12? "I am ____ years of age and have resided I-134...
C- Do I put the USCIS number provided in the NOA1 on part 1 question 10 (USCIS online account number)? What about my father who is the co sponsor?
D- Do I enter information into part 1 question 12? "I am ____ years of age and have resided in the United States since_____"
E - Part 3 Income and Asset Information...do I leave my annual income at zero, as I haven't earned US dollars in 8years? I work and earn local wages in Mexico. For my father, would he put his yearly income her get from his Social Security from retirement?
F - Part 3 question 26-29...does this pertain to the currant person I am petitioning? As a co sponsor, does my dad also fill this out for my fiance?
G- Question 38..seems like a trick question. Why would anyone check off "I do not intend to make specific contributions"?
H- Parts 5 and 6 and all places that pertain to children (since none are involved), do we leave these all blank, or put N/A into ever single cell?

I have posted this in multiple places and sites, and I can't get any answers to my questions. Is there anyone I can turn to to ensure this Affidavit is filled out correctly by me and my co sponsor? Only one person responded in the K1 general forum, but his response was to go by the instructions on VJ..which have already been exposed as outdated.

PLEASE HELP! We are filing the DS-160 tomorrow, and I really need to get this portion done so I can finally give my heart and brain a rest.

Once you get approved, which will be quick for sure. Here's the next steps.

You Must follow this exact order:

  1. Started calling both the immigrant and non-immigrant NVC support lines two weeks after NOA2. Called every two days until we were told the case is received
  2. Called the NVC line that said our case was received every day until they give us a case an LND number.
  3. We waited until the case checker above said "READY". https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx
  4. We completed the DS160 online and printed the receipt. You need the receipt later.
  5. We Scheduled the medical over the phone. You will pay 300 pounds when you go to the medical.
  6. We submitted the readiness form online.
  7. We scheduled the interview online. this is when you will pay $265.00 and you will also have the option to pay for the carrier service at the same time (19 pounds). Make sure to schedule the interview 2 week after the medical because if the medical results are not at the embassy the day of your interview it can cause delays. Printed all of the confirmations as they are needed later. You need your LND number, the DS160 confirmation number, your passport number, your personal info to schedule. Choose option 2, the K option when asked.

You DON'T need a letter from the embassy to schedule anything or at the interview.

Read all of this too. It's where you find the phone numbers and links to do the above and other things you must understand to prep for it all:

Hi, December filer here. Got our NOA2 last week. Apparently everyone in December thread and even January thread is talking about medical and interviews. So I joined your thread hoping to have more common experiences :)

PLEASE HELP! We are filing the DS-160 tomorrow, and I really need to get this portion done so I can finally give my heart and brain a rest.

I just checked what they told to you in the K1 general forum, and it seems accurate to me, but here are my answers, if that can help...

A- Do I put the USCIS number provided in the NOA1 on part 1 question 10 (USCIS online account number)? What about my father who is the co sponsor? C is the same.

None of you should have an USCIS online account number, unless you filled and online application before. You can read as follow in the instructions to fill in i-134:

"USCIS Online Account Number (if any). If you have previously filed an application, petition, or request using the
USCIS online filing system (previously called USCIS Electronic Immigration System (USCIS ELIS)), provide the
USCIS Online Account Number you were issued by the system. You can find your USCIS Online Account Number
by logging in to your account and going to the profile page. If you previously filed certain applications, petitions,
or requests on a paper form via a USCIS Lockbox facility, you may have received a USCIS Online Account Access
Notice issuing you a USCIS Online Account Number. If you received such a notice, your USCIS Online Account
Number can be found at the top of the notice. If you were issued a USCIS Online Account Number, enter it in the
space provided. The USCIS Online Account Number is not the same as an A-Number."

B- Do I enter information into part 1 question 12? "I am ____ years of age and have resided in the United States since_____" D is the same.
If you are a US born citizen, you leave that part blank, since 11 and 12 don't apply to you.

E - Part 3 Income and Asset Information...do I leave my annual income at zero, as I haven't earned US dollars in 8 years? I work and earn local wages in Mexico. For my father, would he put his yearly income her get from his Social Security from retirement?

I think they provided you good advice regarding this one. Generally speaking, they don't care about income abroad, but I think it's good you gather all your documents just in case. As for your father, that sounds correct, but get all the documents required his side too (taxes, as well as documents regarding the retirement payment... sorry, but as a foreigner I'm not sure how that works there).

F - Part 3 question 26-29...does this pertain to the currant person I am petitioning? As a co sponsor, does my dad also fill this out for my fiance?

Yes, your fiancé, so YOU fill in with the proper information. For date of filing we used received date.

Your dad shouldn't fill this part, since you are the one petitioning, not him. So put none in the space for name as indicated.

G- Question 38..seems like a trick question. Why would anyone check off "I do not intend to make specific contributions"?

There's a couple of threads on VJ about this topic. General advice, and it seems good to me: mark I do intend and then in part 7 for additional information specify it doesn't apply because this is for a K1. Normally people type something like "N/A K1 visa for permanent residence".

H- Parts 5 and 6 and all places that pertain to children (since none are involved), do we leave these all blank, or put N/A into ever single cell?

What we are doing is putting N/A just in the first blank space (name). It's common sense for us that means all the rest of spaces are N/A too... but if your common sense tells you to put N/A in every single space, that's ok too. I've read some people did that, and it doesn't matter really.

Hope than can be somehow helpful.

Don't stress out (I know... hah!) and good luck :)

Hi.  The petition is finally in the USEM!  I'm trying the complete the interview appointment but i don't know what to put in on the Priority Date.  We don't have a priority date in our NOA2.  Wonder what do you put in there as it is a required field?  Thanks.

We did it over the phone, a really rude guy told us up to 60 days... we did one online too, that one says we should hear back by August the 4th.
This is becoming a nightmare!!!
