Same here,I don't know if we supposed to call embassy or wait for e mail. We have been waiting for 2 weeks. No news for 2 weeks from embassy

I don't have patient anymore))) I was wait only 2 days and sent US embassy in Moscow e-mail, they respond couple days later and send me e-mail with instruction that we should visit the site, pay visa fee, fill out DS-160 form. I think you should e-mail embassy or call, whatever is best for you. Two weeks it sound long for me to wait. Remember we have only 4 month from date of NOA 2 to schedule interview day. It sound enough time, but is not. Since my NOA2 on 6/12/17 is already a month pass((

VJ friends, quick question.

Our case arived at the Moscow embassy today and they have already emailed us a user name and Pw to schedule an interview. Do we have to wait to get packet3 or any other email from them? DS-160 hasnt been filed out yet either. We just do not want to jump the gun and do something wrong.

Thanks all :)

Update: my fiance just text me, that he received e-mail from embassy that now he approved to schedule his interview date. Good news)))., but bad news he is at work now and will be at home only tomorrow((( so, need to wait another 12-14 hours... He is so particular, he want to call first and find out about medical appointment in Moscow clinic and how long it will take to receive result, and after that choose an interview date..... I have to be patience.

Hello,

if I have submitted my ds-160 and got the confirmation page, but have realized that I need to make a change on my form, how can I fix this? Do I need to start a new ds-160? I have not paid or fixed my appointment yet.

hi guys, quick question to those who have filled out DS-160:

Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition on your behalf with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services?

Is this yes or no?

I thought the question was with regards to my fiancé and the petition he filed. But now that I am re-thinking this question and after Googling it, I am wondering if I understood it right. I'll have to re-do a new ds-160 if this was not referring to my fiancé's petition. There is a section to explain, and I did, but I dunno, if it was what I was suppose to do 😥

I don't think it would hurt if you send them an email..... I am not sure what the process is in Rio but for me, when my case showed "Ready" in CEAC I emailed the embassy and asked them to send me the k1 packet with the instructions and forms and they did.

Just an update: after emailing them, they replied with the instructions. I guess I shouldn't have waited as long as I did!

Thanks. Unfortunately I'll have to fill out a new ds-160 as I apparently cannot make changes after submitting it 😞
