The interview is finally scheduled for Aug 1st. @Missabc the earliest was July 20th.

For everyone that's still waiting on NOA2, please hang on a bit longer. It's gotta be soon.

I just got my interview date ☺️ August 4th earliest was 19th

My fiance said that her doc told her she could do a blood test to see what vaccines she has had before. Has anyone ever heard of this and would the embassy accept it?

In my case it was for one vaccination. My doc took a blood test and proved that I'm immune. He wrote a note stating this and I brought it to my medical. The physician at the medical accepted it without any questions.

It seems like only a couple of us are taking awhile at the NVC stage.  I read through the March filers over the weekend and many of them who have received their NOA2 already have their case number, even several people who were approved after me.  I think the standard processing time there is really 2-3 weeks, I don't know why me and @TexasHeartsIndia are stuck in a delay.  I understand your loss of hope for sure but I'm not going to stop hoping for you :D

I am glad to hear that you won't have to pay a change fee if you do have to change your flight.

And, as I was typing this I was on hold with NVC.  I got through to an agent as I was about to hit submit and decided to wait for the usual "it can take up to 6 weeks to receive".  However, I had the opposite today "Your case was received on July 7th, please wait 2-3 weeks for us to assign a case number".  What a relief!  And I'm sure you'll be receiving the same relief soon!!!

Thanks for mentioning me... I called this afternoon and seems like we're still waiting. :(  Like @Missabc we were hoping he would be here end of September or beginning of October. He needs to give a month's notice at work, so I'm beginning to think an October wedding is stretching it.

Also, how do we send packet 3? Scanned copies of the docs they request & do we give the financial supporting docs at this stage? Thanks :-)

Hello,

Our case status on CEAC reads: Ready! :-) Does this mean it's time for me to start filling out my visa application, or do I have to wait for some letter with instructions? We have not got any email yet either.

So happy that my fiancé and me are finally gonna be together soon!! :-)

That's so exciting!! I am anxious to hear how they contact the beneficiary in India, snail-mail or email. I am very worried about that because the mail in Delhi is so unreliable.

Thanks! Don't worry, I'm sure things will happen smoothly. I'll update here once we get our letter/email.

Hang in there, I'm hoping yours comes soon too!

By the way, my parents live about 2 hours east of Dallas, outside of Paris. When I fly to see them, I always fly into Dallas. I hear there is a large Indian community in the Dallas area, too. It's one of the few US cities that has a Syro-Malabar Catholic Church (the south Indian Catholic rite). :)

Awesome. We have same noa2 date so maybe mine will be there too. Think I'll ask my fiance to call this week and see. I can't do much until I get my police cert back as I just sent that off 😁

Ah, I'm sorry, I was hoping since we had been waiting together that we would get the good news together.  I still have hope that you will make it to NVC this week and that you can still make your timeline.  A month's notice is a very generous notice at work.
