I feel you guys day 135 here...infopass appt on Tuesday....plus I broke down and bought a ticket with the loan from affirm on cheapair to see him...2000+ dollars...luckily he'll help me pay...I leave August 7 to 14th....we'll be on krk islands in baska where he just opened a clothing shop for the season...been there last year ..its so beautiful ...powder blue sea...I feel so much relief to know I will see him soon...

I am curious what will the infopass appointment tell you? Will they be able to tell you more than ' normal processing times' ? Which stage is infopass most useful? 

 

There is availability everyday for where my fiance lives. I won't be going there until the end of the month, but is it something we should look into if no NOA2 by then..?

I don't really know what they can or will do...I'm desperate...I do plan on printing proof that march cases are being approved so I can squash the whole....bullcrap processing times

I just spoke to a tier 2 officer about 5 mins ago. and she said we got approved today. IDK what to feel.

Thank you so much. I am still speechless and I cannot believe that just happened. I am still skeptical at the moment. 

 

The tier 1 person that I spoke to earlier told me that my "I130" was approved last July 10 which was obviously the wrong information. He apologized for his mistake and I told him that he made me excited for a second of his "wrong" information. He told me that mine was still pending and gave me the usual (within the processing time, still processing January 15 cases, every case is different, call again in a month) BS!. I told him that several march filers and even April filers got their approvals already and also told him that the online tracker is not working. I asked him that could it be that my case was approved a long time ago and the letter got lost in the mail - he could not answer my question so he transferred me to a tier 2 officer. Tier 2 called me back 2 hours later. She asked for my information and confirmed that I filed for I-129F (asked for my fiancee's full name and DOB and country) After verifying everything, she told me that my case was approved today. I told her to look at it again and make sure since the person that I spoke to earlier gave me the wrong information. She sounded so serious and did not even laugh. She said that her job is to give out correct information and whatever she says is the right info. I told her that I understand that, I just needed her to check again my name and my fiancee's name if it says approved on their system. She said "I told you and I am telling you again, your petition was approved today".

 

Should I celebrate or wait for the letter?

I remember a few weeks back someone got a call back from a Tier 2, and told them that their petition was just approved that day.  Within a few days, their letter showed up.  

Clearly, uscis has us gun shy, and their misinformation over and over until one day they say something different....  I say, Screw them idiots, Go celebrate!  You have earned it.

It's about time - what the hell took them so long???  Honestly, I believe some of these petitions get buried under the flood of cases they receive daily. They need to find a better way.

Hope those who are still waiting on NOA2  get some good news soon.

I just received a text from the USCIS telling me there is an update to my case and to check the case status on their website. I was very excited to do so because it has been 17 days since the case status was updated with a statement saying they received my evidence from the rfe. When I press the link and submitted my receipt number to check the case status it is exactly the same case status that I've had for 17 days.  So much for technology.

I received a text message as well.. but when I tried the website it says error. I had an rfe, and I replied June 26th. Hmmm🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

To all those who are still waiting especially with the date of Feb 28! Our time is now! I suggest to call them and speak to a tier 2. Good luck to all.

Thanks! Just hanging out down in the trenches with everyone on here. I waited 131 days, but the approval was 125 days. You have me beat!
