Wow thank you! So what nvc letter does she bring on her medical? Btw goodluck on the interview

I sent her a copy of the NVC letter they sent me, but if they didn't send it, she was going to print the notification from the CEAC website and use that as it has all the information there.   But she never got an instruction packet from the embassy.  Thanks for the luck, always need it here.

My fiance never got the packet, she went ahead and scheduled all when the "Ready" message was on the CEAC website. She was able to schedule all.

She always checks with other people going through the same process first.  Her interview is tomorrow morning at 10:40 AM, hoping it is easy for her.  I am nervous as hell, but really should be fine.  (and the packet still has not arrived)  I will tell you how it goes tomorrow.  Send your prayers and luck to her.

Sending her good vibes and good energy.  She will get approved. :) <<< it is necessary to speak positive and in the present tense. :) >>>

The letter that we received from NVC is just the one that it says its going to be transferred will that be fine?

Just tried the NVC again, still claiming it hasn't been received.  Tomorrow will be 4 weeks since NOA2.  Starting to get a little nervous now that it's been lost/misplaced and I'm going to have to recreate our packet again.

Have you called all of the different numbers? I'm sure you have but wanted to make sure in case not.

That is what she told me someone else had done and had no issues, but you will get the NVC letter (she actually scheduled before I got it).  I am not as knowledgeable as her, but that is what she expressed to me.  She belongs to a K1 group that has 1000s from the phils.

All of my calls except for 1 have been to the non-immigrant line because the wait times there are much shorter.  I think tomorrow I will try both lines and see what they say.

Yes. I heard some others say that if your case is with the new electronic system, you need to call the immigrant line and use option 5 after choosing English.

Which embassy are you going through?  We're going through London and I wasn't sure if they were apart of the new electronic system.  If you're going through London, did yours go through the electronic system?

Hi guys! How many people are still waiting for noa2 from Feb? Today is 155 for me and I keep saying this will be the week but not feeling it. I called uscis Monday and they told me to wait until the online site said I was outside of processing time. I don't see how it can take 5 months to get a noa2 without any word. Hopefully once I get it I will not get hung up at the nvc for a long time as well.

147 days here.  Still no word.  Though it's wonderful for those that filed after us are getting theirs, it looks like they only process about 12 to 19 for each day and leave the rest, picking up an old one here and there.  At least that's the pattern I noticed.  Could be anything, never will really know.

I'm following a total of 50 I-129F all around the same tracking number as mine.  Only one as been approved within 90 days of it being filed.  20 of them touched (requests/returns/approved) and 30 not touched at all.

NOA1: feb 28th

NOA2: june 14th

Just got an email this morning from the embassy:

"Dear Iris,

We have received an expedited K-1 Fiancée visa request.

Please see attached instructions for your interview.

NOTE : Not all of the instructions are applicable to your case – you would have to fill out a DS-160.

Interviews are only on Wednesdays at 1pm and we only schedule interviews after you have the medical results ready and the medical may not be older than 6 months.

Sincerely,"

So it looks like I can schedule my interview!! Never expected them to contact me this fast!

Still need to call them and double check if it's true I don't need the I-134 affidavit of support for the interview ( I asked them once via email and they said no, but still most people say we do need it so I'm not sure what to think)

I should receive a letter from NVC to bring to the interview?

And does anyone know if my US fiancé needs to send me a copy of his tax return to bring to the interview too?

Mine didn't, but there has never been much rhyme or reason to any of this. :D

Where do I find the Visa case number to check the CEAC status? I only have the receipt number from USCIS.
