Well my fiance called NVC after he got off work.  He didn't get any mail or email or text yet.  He probably will soon.  I think they just had inputted the information into their system.  We probably will get the mail within the week.  I will let you know once we receive information from them other than calling them.

Yours will be there soon! :)

Thanks! 😊 Yes, please keep us posted on the progress. I guess we will try and call again this week. So far even we have only gotten the standard reply of, it can take up to 6 weeks.

This is good advice....

And I have been trying ;)

I have now made 700  (out of 1000) paper cranes  (those good luck cranes are going to be used in my wedding....or happily ever after....some how)

I have removed all of the popcorn ceilings from my house....

Trained my dogs to be polite....

Made a vegetable garden....

Planned a wedding at my father's house  (very small)

Cleaned half of my belongings out of the house to make room for his belongings.

And I am buying a new car to transport my two dogs and camping gear  (plus kayaks) because I would like to show him the US.....

That is what I have done so far  (to busy myself)..

Anyone else made new accommodations/life changes to accommodate their future spouse?

Oh wow! You were busy! :)  On my end, I signed up for yoga classes online to improve my own practice and my teaching skills.  I went to a Pranic Healing workshop, read some books I haven't had time to read before, watched a lot of movies, and went out more with my friends who I didn't spend time with before.  Whining here helped a little bit though, but eventually I got tired doing it even in my mind, and when I did, that's when the approvals came out.  haha! :) I'm the beneficiary so I kind of ransacked my closet and gave out my old stuff to people who can make use of them.  (Releasing old "energy" so new ones will come in.) :)

Do you have a picture of your paper cranes? It seems cute to use that for your wedding. :)

My case in now in transit to the embassy.

Those waiting on NOA2, please hang in there, it's definitely worth it, and things move much faster after the USCIS stage.

My case has been in transit to the London embassy for a week now and i'm so anxious to book the interview, do you think it will cause any problems if i schedule it before the case reaches the embassy? (I have already had my medical!) P.s congrats!!!!

This is what I want to ask too.  Is it ok to schedule the interview with the embassy while the case status is still "At NVC"?

Which embassy are you using? I assume if the website lets you schedule it, it shouldn't be a problem, but i don't know!

It's the Philippine embassy.  I was thinking of setting the interview maybe 3 weeks from now to give some leeway until the case becomes ready.

Hey there we're from Ph as well.

Nvc ready status 06/27

we called them yesterday and asked if we can already schedule a medicAl or interview they told us to wait until a letter /email comes to your benefeciary before you can go ahead and schedule.. this one got me confused cause if We check our status on ceac it says we can go ahead and schedule it now

Who did you call?  NVC or the USEM Manila?

Usem manila

I see.  That is confusing.  This blog I was reading said that you can go for a medical with the number and you can tell them that you got your number through a call to NVC, though it is advisable to bring the printout of the email from NVC.  And that once it is on "Ready" status, this means that the embassy is ready to interview you.  You can check http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/.  This is where you can set your appointment.

You can also send an email to NVC so they can provide you the email of your NVC case.
