I don't think the visa was denied... He made a mistake on a form and it caused them to loose their interview date. He had already bought flight tickets and was trying to get the embassy to honor the old interview date but the request was denied. I think he had to rearrange flights, which caused him to loose some money :(

Oh, well I hope you are right. I could not IMAGINE the pain a denial would cause me. I would lose my mind I think and have to be locked up in a mental hospital.

Congrats!!! We just have a few more to help across the line.

Thanks TriloByte.

I very much hope so....

Because when I get that piece of paper  (NOA2)....I'm going to be asking questions - like the kid in school that wasn't paying attention because it didn't pertain to her - you know - until it did

Hopefully soon I will be asking "what the f%_€ do I do now" :P

I thinkTexasHeartsIndia is correct. I hope she's correct. Because the embassy in Guayaquil, Ecuador is notoriously difficult. So I hope he worked it out  (because from reading all of TBoneTX, Global Mod,  posts it is basically required the petitioner be at the interview in Ecuador)

You know who would be locked away if we got denied? My parents... because if that happened, I would pack my things and move to India in a heart beat --- then they would go crazy with me moving to the other side of the world lol

I hear you. I would have actually preferred to move to the UK, but I have kids and can't move unless I never want to see them again. So this immigration has to work. Everything crossed including my eyes and butt cheeks that it all works out OK.

A Stokes interview at the K1 process. That is insane.

I hope he figured out his travel plans....I am worried about him.

Hi guys, so i have an interesting one ... after 2.5 weeks after NOA2 i decided to call NVC , wich was las wednesday and i told the case had been received on that day, then i called on friday and they said they had not received it , so who the hell is right ? Right?

My fiance told me to send an inquiry theu nvc website.

I called on Monday , nope we havent received it , Holiday was close , got up today and called around 9, Nope we have not received it from USCIS , it can take up to 6 weeks! 😞😞😞😞😞

then same day at around 12 pm i received the emails with our case numbers and its already showing as in transit!

Sending out that inquiry might also be a good idea, since is something more formal than calling.

I would not mind moving somewhere else  (but I really don't want to move to Algeria - I'm not Muslim - neither is my fiance...the culture is a bit stifling - especially for a 45 year old blonde green eyed outspoken southern woman with 2 dogs....and I really enjoy air conditioning) But maybe eastern Europe.....the weather is nice.

My case in now in transit to the embassy.

Those waiting on NOA2, please hang in there, it's definitely worth it, and things move much faster after the USCIS stage.

Congrats! Good luck with the final stage!

Oh man, what!? What was the reason? I just assumed things were smooth sailing for you, as I saw no timeline updates from those that I follow (you being one of them). :(

TriloByte, let me clarify. I have not written for awhile and I think you have gotten confused.

If you remember, I made a mistake in completing the DS-160 / Scheduling the Embassy Interview. We were scheduled for the interview July 12. Because of my mistake, Our interview was moved to July 17. When I said they denied my request, it was a request to move our interview back to July 12.

I am leaving Friday July 14 afternoon to be in Ecuador with my Fiance. I arrive Saturday July 15 in the morning and our interview is 10:05am on Monday July 17. We are both very excited that this process is almost over. I  have 7 more nights here alone then I get to join her for the rest of my life. GOD IS GOOD!

She and I are both packed and ready to FLY!

i have not been on the forum for several days. Sorry to see I left a false impression. I have talked with several people who have gone through Guayaquil Embassy and they say is very easy cut and dry. but there is no way I would not be by her side with something this serious on the line. I have no doubt we will be traveling home together in 2 weeks.

Thanks everyone for you concern. but I truly believe GOD is in control and it is only a matter of time.

thank goodness our case number is finally here.  sanity restored! :) hoping for everyone to get their approvals and case numbers soon! :)

That is wonderful news! Wondering how we find out if our case is recieved & what our case number is... Other than calling, do they send an email or snail mail? And does it go to the petitioner or beneficiary?

We have the same NOA2 date as you. Hoping ours will be here soon too ⏳ We have reached the 20 day average time mark for NVC to receive our case.

Good luck to everyone near the finish line and ESP those still waiting on NOA2. Hang in there, it will happen soon for us all :-)

Well my fiance called NVC after he got off work.  He didn't get any mail or email or text yet.  He probably will soon.  I think they just had inputted the information into their system.  We probably will get the mail within the week.  I will let you know once we receive information from them other than calling them.

Yours will be there soon! :)
