It's strange that Feb 28 were ignored. After 132 days, we're still here waiting for that damn approval. I'm trying to stay positive but waiting and not knowing what is going on is terribly hard. Have you guys tried speaking to tier 2? They are not very helpful as we're still "within processing times". I don't know what else I can do to let them know "hey you forgot about Feb28".

Yes, I actually spoke to a Tier2 but she said to wait 45 business days, so that means mid August. It's getting more frustrating as time goes by.  It feels so close and yet so far.

We have the same dates and I know there's a couple more with the same date as us, It seems we are sat on someone's desk catching dust, honestly feel so fed up :(

Yes, I think everyone I've seen with this date, hasn't been approved yet. I even asked a Tier2, to tell me around what date my case would be considered outside the normal processing time, but she said I don't know it depends <_<

Can anyone possibly shed some light on how long its taken to have their passports returned by London embassy? Trying to plan a flight, and they say on the website allow a long time but i know it's usually faster! Has anyone got this far from England yet?

thanks

Our NOA2 is June 10 and same situation here. Which number did you call?

I have been calling the non immigrant number and the lady who answered this morning sounded annoyed that I was calling. She even asked my approval date and said, "Well, it takes 6 weeks to receive your file."  Umm... no b___h, it doesn't.  Now do the damn job my taxes and filing fees are paying you to do and be happy about it!!:angry::angry::angry::angry:

So today I decided to try the immigrant line to give them a shot over the non-immigrant line.  Still the same information though "we haven't received your case yet, it can take up to 6 weeks to receive it".  Looking over others in this thread it looks like 21 days is about the average.  If I give them the benefit of the doubt, I can see how they might have approved my case on Friday the 9th but didn't mail my NOA2 until Monday the 12th which is what my envelope was postmarked.  If I count 21 days from that date that gets me to July 3rd.  With the holiday, I can easily see a delay in mail/slow down in work.  So, I'm hoping that our cases are received this week...fingers crossed.

Here are the forms to include in your AOS package, in order of importance, along with the fee...

I-485 Adjustment of Status (AOS)

Application to adjust status and receive permanent resident green card

I-765 Employment Authorization Document (EAD)

Application for authorization to work

I-131 Advanced Parole (AP)

Application for permission to travel outside the US prior to receiving permanent resident green card. You will need this in order to re-enter the US without a permanent resident green card, if you leave the US without this prior to receiving your permanent resident card your AOS petition will be considered abandoned and you will not be permitted to re-enter the US. Highly recommend even if you dont plan to use it, you never know if there is a family emergency requiring you to leave the US to visit family or if you decide to honeymoon or vacation outside the US.

G-1145 e-Notification of Petition Acceptance

Application to request an electronic notification (e-Notification) when U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services accepts your immigration application.

You also require the I-864 form Affidavit of Support, without this submission you will receive an RFIE (Request For Initial Evidence). This will be your financial situation laid out bare for USCIS to review. They basically want to ensure the intended immigrant won't become a financial burden to the state and that the sponsor will provide for them in monetary terms should it come to any support that needs to be given.

With all of these forms there are numerous suggestions of documentary evidence that would be beneficial to "front load" your application which personally I would provide.

Others will say it just complicates things and might raise more questions, however if you have a relatively straight forward set of evidence I think it illustrates you are open and honest with them which will always go down well with USCIS.

Ps if you forget to send in the G-1145 form then set up a USCIS account online to track your status (can only do that once you have your receipt numbers that will be sent in the post, a I-797 notice I think). This allows you to start receiving electronic notifications (there is a settings tab I think) email and texts should you wish to choose both.

Thank you very much! May I know the I-131 and I-765 should I send to uscis in the same package with I-485?

You don't have to, but it's better to do so because that way you don't have to pay an extra fee for those two forms... And that's always a good thing in this expensive journey!
