If all they do is answer the phone and make stuff up, seems like a pretty easy job. :)

So....when they change it from "January 15 cases" to "February 15 cases" mine will be out of standard processing time.....does anyone know exactly when their new processing month begins? Should I call Monday?   (Which will be the five month mark for me)

I need some opinions on this one.....

And I have pretty much accepted this waiting as my new reality......so I think I can even be civil when I call :)

I think you just do an official inquiry online once that date passes yours.

I will call Monday which will put me over 5 months but I'm sure they will make me wait until the end of July when they post the new times that are dated by the way March 31st with approvals up to February 15

From what I know, once you have the case number from the NVC, you should go ahead and submit the DS-160 online form application. Packet 3 should arrive 30 days after the USEM has received your case from the NVC. Anyone please feel free to correct me if I'm incorrect about any of this.
