Yep........

Pretty sure I'm losing touch with reality.

When I walk away from the mailbox I start singing the song "No News" by Lonestar....

Ugggghhhh....please anything would be good news right now.

Goodness sake, they need to hurry the heck up with your NOA2! 141 days is ridiculous.

Thank you!

I agree.....I keep trying to tell myself..."well...one day closer"

How about you? Any word from the NVC? (That's next, right?)

I JUST called NVC and they said: "Not received yet". It's been 20 days since NOA2 for me, so in 2 days I will have crossed into waiting longer than the average 21 days. It's just my luck to wait longer than average at every stage of the game :)

Problem is, my fiance in the UK has gotten rid of all her stuff, quit her job and it looks like we still have a couple months left. The longer these government goofballs take, the more it's costing us. I really hope they get into motion soon.

Me too....

Surely you will get it in the next couple days. It sounds like she is ready to move. Hopefully in the next month or so you guys will be together. That would be wonderful! I hope it all comes together soon for you guys. :)

I'm sure we will see something soon. The standard response at the NVC is 6 weeks. I am hoping sooner than that.

Your NOA2 has to be very soon, and, that USCIS date is about to pass yours, so they know they have to get in gear. My guess is that you get your NOA2 this week.

I was going to call in today but after seeing yours still in the "Not received" status yet has convinced me to just try again next week. You and I have very similar timelines and we both seem to have to wait just a "tad" bit longer than usual

It's true, for whatever reason. I think I will try again around Thursday though. Keep a look out for my update. I will post the results of that call.

I am trying to fill out the I-134 (Affidavit of Support) with my fiance and I have a few questions if any of you who's already completed this form could please advise on how you went about it?

1) They asked for the beneficiary's A number - Is this the alien number found on the NOA2, on top of the beneficiary's name?

2) Did you guys check 'wholly dependent on me for support' or 'partially dependent on me for support'? (question 21, part 3)
I'm the beneficiary and I will be joining my petitioner fiance with SOME money of my own, but we have concluded that he will be responsible for the majority, such as rent and household expenses. He feels like he is the man and should be responsible for that, especially since us beneficiaries won't have any income for a while. Obviously if I wanted to buy something I would just pay for it with my own money and not expect him to pay for every single thing! Would this be considered 'wholly' or 'partially'?

3) If we check partially dependent, will the beneficiary have to provide documents of THEIR income/assets and things?

4) What about question 38 where it asks if you intend/ do NOT intend to make specific contributions to the support of your beneficiary?  (question 38, part 3) This question is really confusing because if you select 'intend', it asks you to list exact details of what they will be, how much, etc.

It took 5 weeks for NVC to process ours. Hang in there!

1. Yes, that is the number.

2. I believe Q21, part 3 is specifically for the US petitioner's current dependents, if that is applicable (children, elderly relatives, etc.).

3. Depends on answer to your 2nd question above.

4. I think most people mark "intend" for this question. Then on page 8 (part 7, question 3.d) you would write in how the US petitioner intends to provide support. For example on my I-134, I have "I intend to provide room, board, clothing, money, and all other needs for this person indefinitely."

I'm pretty sure that it's to make sure that once in the US, the beneficiary has an appropriate level of support.

I hope this helps!

So it just seems like there are only 3 of us left for Feb filers?

Me, "me and her", and  "missabc". I feel the pain.

When I sent my i-129f packet, I included the i-134 forms and documents to support it. I "heard" this some what speeds up the process, but I guess not. :(

Still waiting.. I don't even use the uscis case tracker anymore.. I depend on my mail more than anything else. meh.

Me too!! 147 days of waiting! Still nothing :(

Sorry we are not checking VJ much, makes it a bit harder, i'm happy for everyones approvals, is just 147 days is way too much. And see others approved makes me a bit sad. Looks like never will be our moment
