thanks for your input. the packet 3 from Abu Dhabi where I am interviewing specifically lists several financial documents including the bank statement to be brought as supporting documents to the I-134. so i will need to bring it. even if they are not needed, i would feel much more confident in the interview knowing i came with it anyway. 

 

i will not be comfortable bringing a considerable amount of cash by default, how much more on a long-haul flight...just too risky.

I still have to check the rates and fees with my bank, but I'm planning on using Transferwise because they charge you "only" 0.5% of the amount transferred and apply the real exchange rate.

Never used it before, but it seems like a good option to me because I have a good amount on savings and paying the 2-3% banks usually charge would be crazy.

On the desktop site if you go to "account settings" under your picture in the top right - there is an option there to edit your signature

I am so sorry. You are not alone. I feel the same way. It is day 122 for me and let me tell you. It gets harder as days go by. People getting their approvals who filed later than we did. I am happy for them that after 80 days they were approved already. But it makes me wonder what about those who filed before their date? My case isn't complicated: Never married, no children, we're in our 20s with 5 years age gap, travelled to several countries the past 2 years, did not miss any single check on our application.

 

I have contacted and spoke to 3 tier2 agents. "within the processing time" is what I always get and it breaks my heart every time I hear it. It's like a feeling of rejection. I told them that March filers are getting their approvals already. The last tier2 agent that I spoke to said "never in his career as an agent that he heard someone got approved before 4-5 months. I mean come on it's either it's your first day or you're one of that let an application sit for 4 months on your desk before you even start opening it. Outrageous. Why? Just to make others miserable? It doesn't make sense. I am sorry I just had to vent.

 

You are right that nothing works. Nothing at all works, indeed.

It's one thing to make a person wait 4 months, but it hits a new level when they lie to your face with a lie that's so obvious that it's like them telling us that they know how to read, write or have a soul. We know it's a lie!  

 

What an admirable career they have there at the USCIS pyramid where they torture people for fun.

 

USCIS, if you are reading, prove me wrong, and approve these folks, else move on and accept the reputation you've earned!

One of things that is so frustrating is that this is only our first instance with dealing with USCIS.  We all still have another 3-4 years to deal with them through AOS, ROC and Naturalization....ugh!  Hopefully local offices might be slightly better...

Our luck has to change soon! I'm just beginning to be p*ssed off constantly over it, I think I've passed the sad stage. I tell my fiance every time a March filer has been approved and he's like 'huh? what about us'. Oh and the congressman never even bothered to respond to us!

By next Thursday when i get my vaccinations done i will be completely ready for my medical and interview, just give us our bloody NOA2's!

Right there with you, so many emotions.... I just don't get it,. It's just our luck the computers get all fuk*d for the Feb group.  And nothing worse than hearing someone talk about how stressed they are when they only waited a month or two to get noa2.
