To anyone who is waiting the NVC #, I would like to share this with you:

If you're an electronic case, make sure you're calling the immigrant line 603-334-0700, then press 5. If not, the agent you speak with will not able to see your file and keep telling you they haven't receive your case yet.

Below link is referring to the CR1 filers, but confirmed with NVC that they are already started with K1 Visa a month ago.

https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/approved/contact/CEAC_electronic_processing.html.html).

This didn't work for me. I get "You may wish to visit our website, goodbye" and the phone hangs up. A couple time it asked me to choose between Spanish and English and then after I get "You may wish to visit our website, goodbye" and the phone hangs up

Make sure you press 1 for English first, and then 5 (instead of 7 as what you were likely choosing previously).

It should be after you choose between Spanish and English that they list the options and you press 5. Maybe it's busy at the moment.

I will add that when calling the immigrant line 603-334-0700, then option 5, she checked about 4 different places for my case. She said, "Hold on, I am checking another place to make sure" 3 or 4 times.

Make sure you press 1 to choose English, then it will say something like our option menu has changed, then press 5.

They are also much nicer at NVC. I have called NVC about 6 times so far and never had a rude person.

Well, is getting harder everyday, we end up having an arguments about this, the stress is hurting the relationship. Is too much. 143 days is a longggg wait!
My initial plan was travelling at the end of the summer, but now, that might not even be possible. We have a dog, i need to do the dogs papers 15 days befores travelling... there is nothing i can organice or plan... just wait.

I'm also resigning my job... feels just too unfair! I'm happy about other filers, but what's wrong!? Why do i feel like they are treating us like we are less!!

I'm sorry for this, there is days is just too much.

We have had call and call USCIS, write the congressman... nothing, nothing at all works :(

You have me beat, at 143 days. That's an extremely long time to be waiting for. I am sorry :(

Has the processing date on the USCIS website passed your NOA1 date yet? If so you can do an official inquiry.

Have you called the NVC to see if they have your case? Could be that the approval is lost in the mail?

I'm right there too I have a week and a half then I will be over the 5 month window. I'm sure they will change their answer when I call the USCIS and say wait 6 months though lol.

I feel you!. 157 days of waiting now. Feel stressful , emotional and you're right sometimes the stress hurting the relationship. Yesterday, I was looking at some wedding dresses from few designer, I was excited but then suddenly tears were falling as I realized we haven't received anything yet. Either Noa2 or RFE.

I just don't like this thing happens to us. We want to make it true. We want to be together as husband and wife as soon as possible, that's why we choose this way. But we must wait for USCIS to process our file which we don't know when they will touch it.

I pray for you and me will hear something soon before the end of June.

I understand your frustration....  the petty arguments....  I know someone posted they never fight, but to be in a constant state of stress is too much for these long waits, especially when previous cases went by without any long wait times.  I respect and love my other half, but this is so unbearable at times.  No one, except those applying for this, has any clue as to the emotional roller coaster it puts upon one.  Thank goodness for the support from this group, because no one else has a clue.....:clock:

I know we are a few in this long insane wait... feel unfair :(

Processing time is 15 of Jan, we are 1st of Feb.

Yes, we also called NVC and nothing.

We call USCIS again and again, always the same: we are within the normal processing times... and sometimes feels like they are making fun of us!
