we also have a birth certificate issue as well, they told us it would take 1-4 months to fix at her province. >.<

So far, there has just been 5 February cases approved so far. I suspect though that these are just expedited cases. It will be a while till they get to us Feb people so we need to just sit tight and be patient while we wait. Easier said than done though, i know! =)

Yes we can wait :) it will be there soon :) I am trying to stay positive, there is not that many Filers in January as it was at December, so hopefully they will start touching february Files in May. They say if you want something really hard you will get it. I am praying for fast approval, being aparat is killing me. This is ours 5'th separation, all of the previous ones were over 8months after about 4 months together and now we spend almost 9 months together and only 1,5 month we are apart since I came back from US but I am heartbroken and want to go back already... it's the hardest one but knowing it is the last one is giving me hope and keep me positive :) focus on your AOS papers Haha you will need to fill that soon too ;) it will keep anxiety away for a minute.

I just Discovered this forum! So excited to read everyone's updates.

about us:

filed: 2/7/2017

NOA : 2/10 by text and letter

today: have no idea what's next. Called USCIS they said just "wait ".

anyone have any updates what's next?

question: I'm about to file my income tax for 2016. I owe the IRS $10k would this in any way make me look bad? I'm hesitant to pay the full $ upfront but rather make monthly payment (my withholdings were too small in 2016 plus uninsured penalty ). Any thoughts? When does the I-134 need to be filed (proof of support)?

Basically you just have to wait.  They still have a large chunk of December left to do, and even some people from November.  They are just barely starting a few January people.  You can't call them (well you can but they won't do anything) until the the date they have officially processed to is updated on the USCIS website and it is passed your received date (right now it is at Oct 15 I think).

The I-134 will be brought with your fiance to her / his interview, so you have some time.  I am not sure if the amount owing makes you look bad though? I know you will need to provide last year's tax return/ W2 and a letter from your employer with your salary and pay stubs.  Some people say you need to bring bank information as well.
