Couldn't find a thread yet for Feb I-129F petition filers, so let's start one! I just mailed in the initial paperwork on Friday, Feb 3. Hoping I get a notification soon and that there aren't any delays. This site definitely makes the process easier. :)

Hi Maria,

If you've never been in the U.S. and clicked No on #15 you shouldn't have to put any information in any of the other #15 boxes..

For example, I'm petitioning my fiance to come to the U.S. to marry and live here, my fiance lives in Cuba and is not currently in, nor has he ever visited, the U.S. so I would click NO for #15. After that I don't have to fill out any of the 15.a.-h questions because he has never visited the U.S.

& thank you for that question, because I had to pull up my I-129F form to see what you were asking and noticed that I totally forgot to check NO on that question & would've gotten a RFE... Thank you for saving me!! I guess I should go double check all of the other forms lol

Hope that helped :)

@pattyandvern Morning!! or, Afternoon!! depending on where you are lol

I plan on sending my packet out around the 20th. I'm leaving to see my fiance on the 11th (4 more days!! :jest:) and at that point I'll be able to get his signature on the intent to marry & his G325A form along with getting his passport style photo to send in with the G325A form. I'll be back in the states on the 16th, so after that I can print everything else out and put it in an envelope to mail out to Lewisville.

I'm soooo ready for this journey... Or maybe not so much with all the waiting LOL! I like to think I'm a pretty patient person, but the whole waiting game for approvals and acceptance is madness! I think I'm more ready to just have my fiance here and for us to be together; where I can call him whenever I want without having to pay an arm & a leg and if we want just on a whim go out to dinner or to the movies... Simple things that are often taken for granted when your loved one is by your side all the time.

Yes unfortunetely you have to give them the address abroad. If there is not enough room on the Form attach additional sheet and clip it together with the form :)

I too live abroad, but we don't live together for work purposes. Our addresses are too long,so we needed to make a Supplement. In the address line, add See attached Supplement. I can send you my supplement from the G-325a and the I-129F in a private message.

Question..are you the petitioner or the beneficiary?
