Anyone here who got an RFE but now got approved with NOA2? Just wondering how long that took. Is it another full month of waiting? :(

Yea, I got RFE  May 30, received letter on June 6, sent overnight mail, and NOA2 received today)))). NOA2 receipt 6/12/17, so I was waiting only 6 day, with mail 10 days. I was expecting to have a letter maybe next week, but happy Friday today! I am positive, yours will be very soon.

2/23 here too. Slowly dying on the inside waiting for the NOA2! I want to move on with this process so badly.

Don't worry , you will have a NOA2 very soon, I am positive. I have NOA1 02/21/17, approved on 06/12/17, received a hard copy TODAY!!!))). I had California Center. It seems that they speed it up of the approvals for February filers.

Good luck!  I've also thought about calling them at 11 or 11:30 PM EST to see if the line was more available at nighttime as well.

When i called it was better in the evening/night.

I called the NVC today, although i knew it was a little too early since my NOA2 has only been out since last Thu. But I've had a whole week of being approved and having no idea about it, during which i've been very stressed and anxious.

However it felt good knowing that i'm a bit in control now and i can call a service that won't provide lies and fairy tales about k1 visas still being stuck on December held hostage by an evil witch. So i thought i'd give a "test call" to see what lies ahead.

The lady who answered was polite and told me i have to give them 6 weeks before calling the NVC to ask for a case number. I told myself fair enough, i have to give them a little bit more time, one week in is too soon. I'm glad i called, i intend to call a couple of times a week because I don't trust email notifications and letters take too long to get there. Just in my own experience.

I would like to hear your experience regarding the NVC; do you call, how often, how long did it take for your file to get there, when did it leave for the embassy, etc.

NOA2 - 5/24

Petition received at NVC and case assigned - 6/8

NVC status changed from "At NVC" to "In Transit" 6/16

I waited 14 days after my NOA2 date to start calling, I called once per day at 9:30pm EST. After two days I was told petition arrived and they assigned case number. Average hold time on call to NVC 25 minutes.

NVC is swamped with calls, I've called every 30 min since I woke up today, trying to get our case number. All I get is an automated response saying they are busy at the moment and to try the website for finding answers to my questions, then the call ends. Damn.

When you get that message, press 1. Even if you are not prompted, just press 1 during that message. I did that and it sent me to the next menu where I pressed 7.

I'm happy feb seems to be moving along...I must say my congresswoman's office responded right away...no letter really needed...if its immigration issues just call...they emailed me an authorization form...my fiance signed it and emailed it back last night and I emailed it to them at 4am...they confirmed receiving it and faxed it to USCIS already...I'm hoping to get some response soon....it was as easy as a call....

So I'm on day 135 for noa2 and of course doing the most logical thing which is go through my copy of documents sent looking for any mistake possible. So I found one mistake I did but not sure if it would be enough to cause an RFE. I entered in the consulate to interview as Istanbul instead of Ankara... Just wondering if it matters that much since only one does interviews in Turkey. This waiting is driving me crazy. If I get an RFE after waiting this long it will be beyond annoying.

You and @Missabc better get your NOA2 soon or pain is going to be in someone's (USCIS') future. We're not going to stand for these huge delays! I am rooting for you for you all who are still waiting on NOA2.

Can you please post a spreadsheet soon so I can see if they touched my case yet.  Thank you.

Have they fixed the online checker? Last I heard, they were not updating approvals or even RFEs sometimes. I stopped running it because the data is sourced from the online checker which seems unreliable.

I will def run it if USCIS gets their act together and fixes things. It's very frustrating how they operate for sure. Please give me a heads up if people start seeing online updates.
