Fresh news from Interview- my visa was approved  it went very smooth, took 2 hours in the embassy. If anyone want I can describe step by step how it was. Im so happy and relieved  now time to go home!

No problem at all.  I realize that we're in the minority, especially during a process like this  ;)

 

I think that's another reason this hit me so hard today, just a few years ago I would have never been able to go through this process with my fiancé.  I feel very lucky that things have changed and we will now be able to have a future together in the same country.

Here in Spain sex same marriage was legalized 12 years ago, so it's quite normalized now. So yep, even more ashamed of myself on my assumption :P

 

I bet tonight will be memorable when you get to tell your fiancé.

No reason to be ashamed at all.

 

I didn't realize it has already been 12 years since it was legalized in Spain.  Just another way the states always seem to lag behind :D

I may suggested you send an inquiry on their website,I sent it to them on May 12nd, and actually I didn't know I could not send it if my case was still in processing time,but they responded me the end of May,then I received my letter on June 8th.not sure it helps but just try it.I don't think you can not send an inquiry if you are in processing time,it doesn't hurt. Plus,you can schedule an appointment to infopass, they can access the system and see the same information as tier 2

aww…that's strange. why I could submitted an inquiry last month. are we talking about the same website? let me check for you tmr the website I submitted my inquiry.

also,you can go to https://my.uscis.gov/ and schedule an appointment. but have to keep refreshing to see if there will have available time.

APPROVED! I got the email from USPS that I had a letter from USCIS and i had to go home and check. The file was approved 6/10 and i received the letter today. No email or app update. 

 

I couldn't be more excited! I video called him and we opened it together. Happy tears!
