Today was root canal day for me. I had a run in with a crappy dentist three weeks ago, who sent me to the ER after drilling into my sinus and pouring bleach into it. Today I had a specialist go in and fix all that damage, so I was extremely nervous and scared about today. However, I woke up and checked the informed delivery and there it was. The golden Wonka wrapper, the USCIS letter.

I didn't tell my fiancee because 1) until I opened that letter it could have been and RFE and 2) I wanted to record a video of me opening the letter so that she and I could get the good news at the same time.

I sat through the 1.5-hour root canal cleanup job, staggered out of there and headed toward home toward that mailbox. About 5 minutes from the house I started recording a video and talking like nothing was up. Then as I pulled into home, I changed my tone to be much more excited and told her that I hope to have a surprise for her. I walked to the mailbox, pulled out the letter so that the camera could see it, walked to the car and got in, took a deep breath and NOA2!!!! :D:D

Hello everyone! Our application was received by USCIS CSC last Feb.15, 2017. Anyone got their NO2 already? It's really frustrating. How come it's been almost 4 months.😭

Nope, I have NOA1 hard copy notice on 02/21/17, got RFE on 05/30/179( message), USCIC CSC received my respond on 06/07/17. So, waiting for approval.

We finally got our NOA2 today in the mail!!!!!! I have not stopped crying all day I'm so happy and relieved:cry::D

So next step is, I know we wait for the NVC to receive it and call them for our number, but my question is, by getting this new NVC number via phone how does that speed up in the process? Do we use that number for the DS 160? Or is it so I can schedule my medical exam (although I have heard you need the hard copy of the number for that?) Just a bit unsure and I'm eager to get moving with the rest of the process asap!

Thank you everyone for all your support and good wishes to one another!!!!! May good luck shine on you, have a great day!(L)

NOA1- Feb 14th

NOA2- June 12th

It can differ from country USEM to another. I suggest you look at December and January UK filers who are ahead of you in the process and seek their experience thus far.  That said, see my post early today regarding my NVC calling experience.

TriloByte, I am so glad to see you finally made NOA2. Thank GOD. Really look forward to our Journey together to NVC.

My Fiance is still have difficult days on the wait for the interview but not as much as before NOA2. For me, I have no sadness at all now. I believe 30 days we will be near scheduling the Interview. Once you can see light in the tunnel, your perspective changes.

Those still waiting for NOA2***** Hang tough. Your moment is coming. Is amazing how fast the pain of waiting eases. Our wait for our Fiances to come home is near.

It truly was amazing how the stress just vanished when I saw that letter. It's really impossible to explain the feeling. Only someone that's experienced this knows. Amen to looking forward to the Journey to NVC

I am hoping everyone who is still waiting on NOA2 gets good news soon. We will help each other across that finish line and celebrate together when this is all over and are back with those we love.
