I feel for you...  I started gathering birth certificates for my fiancee and her children last year to make sure I had everything all ready for this process before I began it.  She lives in the Dominican Republic and never had declared the births, think it had something to do with costing like $10 each declaration.  She actually found a lawyer nearby and just walked into his office, I won't go into too much detail but you can imagine what he had to do in order to turn a 1 year long process of getting the genuine birth certificates into only 2 months.  I ended up paying him $260 for the entire thing.  It turns out that the lawyer who helped us is also a pastor of the church.  I still stay in contact with him just in case but I thank God my fiance found him so easily.

That's not bad, the price I have for going to court to get a registration number is $900.  That rediclous, it suppose to be cheaper there and that cost more than how much it would cost in the USA.

But here is the problem....I've been waiting for 120+ for the NOA2.....4 months....and I am among friends here  (people waiting 130 days, 140 days, 200 days)

So when someone says "be patient and wait"  we have a tendency to look up their history....and while I am completely happy for you, you have received your NOA2....in fact, I believe you received your NOA2 within 90 days.......so telling someone to "get a little patience"....and "not obsess".....well...is a little outside your experience...

This is not my first K-1 (sadly) anyway I can tell you this happens on the forum ALL the time.

People tell others to be patient yet they already have their approval LOL

I will tell you coming to this board several times a day will make the process seem longer so......... be patient. :D

I agree with you completely....

I need to take a break...

But I enjoy knowing when people get their approval and am hopeful the people waiting longer than I have been will be approved soon.

I will try to be patient.....

I will try

USCIS is really not updating the system. Yesterday the online status box only reported 22 updates so I am not going to publish the results today. I will post one tomorrow morning.

I'm going to contact the International Criminal Court in The Hague to report USCIS... Because I'm sure trick us to  think the case tracker was fixed by updating on Friday has to qualify as torture :P

Good thing I'm a romantic and I root for paper books and snail mail ;)

So my fiance tried calling uscics  (I gave him a run down of how to be on the phone i.e polite and calm etc) they gave him the same **** 'we're working on December 15th cases' he requested to speak to a tier 2... they refused, he then asked to speak to a supervisor politely and they also refused to transfer him.

I feel so deflated today, now I'm being seriously paranoid thinking they will push our file even further back for being impatient. :(

He just ran into a low life. That's all. Don't let it phase you. Everything will be OK. You saw that 98% of all cases get approved by USCIS right?
