LOL!!! I told her I knew for a fact they had been working on Feb cases already... got transferred to a T2 and I'm supposed to receive a call in 100+ minutes or something like that. Don't know if they will call me back today as it is 4:20 here now. But perhaps they will. We shall see 😋😋

Yes...

I'm very sorry this happened to you, but still keep thinking myself how important is for everyone to check their country US Embassy specific information.

Saying this because I do know how to schedule my interview already since they share that info and link on their website. But they also repeatedly warn people (in bold letters) not to schedule until they send the authorization (that you get after sending them a bunch of documents by snail mail, no fax or email allowed... Yeah, they are annoyingly slow :P).

I do understand the urge to hurry up things, but they have their method. Every country is different, but I can't help but worrying about people doing things in a rush and making a small mistake that can cause extra stress...

I see cases that say "request for evid...", etc. People say they are updating for RFE, but it's possible that that's not accurate either. Within the context of these scans, I just report whatever the box spits out.

My case info is accurate, I send my RFE on May 6, overnight, they received on May 7th at 11AM, and on the scan its updated as well. Now it is another waiting period.

Yes. Ours was approved 5/19, so we haven't been waiting as long as you. I did call USCIS to inquire about their timeline for sending to NVC and the operator literally just told me up to 90 days. First time I've heard of it taking that long.

I hope it's not the case, and that she maybe misunderstood my question.

Today was day 127. What's going to be the magic NOA2 number? 130, 140, 250?

Hope everyone moves forward with whatever stage they're on soon!

The averages from the people on this site are as follows:

NOA2 to NVC receive: 20 days

NVC Processing time: 6 days

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1historical

Now, regarding what they told you, it might actually take 90 days in extreme cases, or, if they just don't like you, perhaps. nobody really knows the "whys", it seems.

I hope you move along quickly starting now regardless of what might have happened previously :)

The only reason they say 90 days is to stop people from calling. I would call twice a week every week until I received my case number but that's just me.

I work for the government. We are told to always give longer wait  or process times. Otherwise people like me will call everyday which slows down the work process. LOL
