My fiancee wants to call USCIS herself, but from the UK, that's quite expensive. Does anyone know of any cheap international phone services? Maybe some online setup?

I called them and tried.

They won't speak to the beneficiary unless the petitioner there with them 😒

I don't trust them much so I attempted this 2-3 times.

one to ask a general question (non case specific) - where I did actually get referred to a tier 2 officer but they can't arrange international call backs!

I believe it depends on the consulate/country because some countries allow you to start the D-160 if you have a NVC number. Also I want to call NVC but don't know which number to call. Can you please tell me the number? I got approved 5/19, I wanted to follow up and track.

We managed to do it here in England, but it was with my fiance's american phone number so they can call international but i guess they choose not to if its an international number.

Useless anyway, tier 2 are just as clueless as tier 1!

Thanks. Yes, it was the international call back that I was trying to figure out, with any of these VOIP services. Sounds like it doesn't matter anyway. You know, them not talking to the beneficiary is not much different than what the petitioner experiences.

I know I was told to call and get invoice # and case # which I did, and the beneficiary needs passport cuz they ask for #'s on ds160 other than those #'a its basic name address, parents names, work, school history,

So approvals dropped off again today. Was working Friday, they did maintenance 2 days later, approvals no longer work. Best I can figure is they realized it was working and did an emergency maintenance to break it so that they can meet their "make them suffer" quota.

I wrote some code that scrapes the I-129F cases from the USCIS website online case checker using some regular expressions, rotating iPs and such.
