Wow I'm glad I learnt about this visa after the fact... that would annoy me ... also thankfully babe and I naturally take lots of pics.

Im confused y y'all submitted receipts tho...

All our package had for evidence was two legal sheets of pics with us. An appended table with date location and who was in each pic. Our letter of intent, our how we met story, flight stubs, pics of my passport and hers and a cover sheet outlining the package contents.

I really dont think yall y'all should be worried about the amount of evidence some ppl have met their fiancé once and in some cases none at all.

note: we didn't use an officer. (We were approved)

Remember they burden of Proof for USCIS and the Embassy is two different standards. If the Embassy is in a country of high fraud or has any suspicions, more proof maybe required. Being light on evidence for USCIS maybe sufficient, but may not be for Embassy. Remember, USCIS all you are doing is proving that you met. Embassy, you need to show ongoing relationship.

Just for clarification, in your comment you said " some ppl have met their fiancé once and in some cases none at all. " This is a false statement. The statue says you MUST have met once in the last 2 years. This is exactly why you see so many sweat over RFE's. Please make sure you have more weighted evidence for the Interview. May I suggest you reach out to Members who have gone through the Embassy in your country and ask for their opinions. We do not need to reinvent the wheel. There are many who have traveled these roads before us.

I'm pretty sure USCIS forwards all of the evidence presented to them to the embassy. Then the embassy might ask for additional evidence.

It's getting real that's for sure!! Let's keep an eye on the mail. I received in the mail on feb 26 I believe... but my receive date was 21 while notice date was 24. It is all based of received date right?

I just checked my case status and I got an RFE :(

AOS Timeline: Camie (Beneficiary)

Dec 08, 2017:               Married!
June 23, 2018:             Filed AOS (we waited until our savings reached above poverty guideline since we both moved here from the PH with basically nothing)

Aug 20, 2018:              Biometrics (I asked to reschedule but USCIS never sent a new date, so I did walk-in.)
Nov 5, 2018:                Received RFE for I-864 joint sponsor

I'm now worried our entire process will get pushed back. We're supposed to leave for the US in August because he starts schooling in the US in September. GAH Looks like he'll have to go ahead and I'll be left behind. :(

Is true. But for their sake, I don't want them to necessarily think that what got them through NOA2 will necessarily get them through the Interview. I think they need some more reading on the Interview.

Don't give up hope. With International Overnight Shipping, your RFE doesn't have to be a big drag. Keep the faith and just respond quickly.

I would be careful about mentioning the school thing at the interview. This is a marriage Visa, not a school Visa. They don't care about your school, in fact, they may see it as a fraud. My suggestion is, if they ask, say you have no specific intention of going to school or working in the US.

Thanks :)

Just sucks that since we're both from the Philippines, our snail mail takes at least 2 weeks to get to us, so we won't know what kind of RFEs they would need til then. Nevertheless, we'll prepare everything we can possibly send and hope that would be okay.

Actually it's him who's a US citizen, so he's allowed to enroll in a school.

I'm the beneficiary :)

Ok, good, I hate to think of people going all the way through this process to just get turned away at the end.

Ok, well, if we look at June 2nd, it does look like the checker was working. Wow. I will keep scanning each day and we will see. Not fixed retro, so the data is off still, but it would be good news if they are logging approvals again going forward. The future dated stuff can be ignored, it's just my regular expression failing on a couple of unusual status updates.
