I received an email today but it said,

Your Form I-129F is within our current processing time. Please see our Web site at www.uscis.gov for processing times.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

What a tease. If I saw a USCIS e-mail, and then that, I would be pissed!

This....this is what I feel right now. Thank you for stating it so beautifully....

I sent my 129 on January 26th.....received notice of receipt on February 2nd and the NOA1 on February 6th......Tomorrow it will be 4 months since my received date....and I have had enough waiting......

I am so sorry. Nobody should have to go through this. It's ridiculous.

I wish I could fly over to that pyramid they work out of there in California and approval all of our cases!

Hang in there just a bit longer and I am sure we will all be seeing good news soon.

Hey guys, i was wondering how long after an approval does it take for nvc to receive a case and to assign a case #?

Hey friend! It depends but It took approximately 11 days for the NVC to receive my application and then an additional 3 days to assign a case number! Speeds up after NOA2!

No no feb 1st ... babe called uscis and got a call back from a tier 2 and she told her that we were approved on the 30th.... but I called on the 30th and we weren't approved so I really do believe that they can assign ur case based on how they feel when u call. Since I was told after 4pm on 30th may that the case hasn't been assigned yet...

Every Embassy is different. For instance at my assigned embassy, we have to wait until the status is ready for interview on the ceac site at the embassy then we are required to submit payment for interview, schedule and then use that receipt to conduct the medical exam. I would look at the requirements for your specific Embassy. They will also mail you some information & directions to follow. 😅
