I say 6 months from now we host a Visa Journey Couples Retreat (in the U.S.) since our soon to be spouses can't travel internationally for a while! 😂 This process seriously prompts for a vacation! Hang in there friends, time is of the essence! Once the NOA2 is received, the ball really starts rolling.

How long do you think it'll take before we can travel? (The spouses with K1 Visa)

Hey guys!

My fiance sent an email to USCIS asking what's going on with our case, and they replied with:

"Thank you for your inquiry.  On 05/22/2017, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 days."

I wanted to know if anyone of you got a similar email and does it really take that long? Our receive date is 02/09/17 and our NOA1 date is 02/14/17. The waiting is so frustrating 😞

Hiiiiiii toanother trini... what is your noa1 date? Actually I went on 23rd may to get a PC and they sai it is generally valid for 1 but for immigration it's 3 months.

also a number of ppl said you can get the vaccines before the interview for cost savings - a fellow trini noted every 1dt Thursday of the month health centers do them for free of charge, so u can investigate that.

Good luck !!

hi u can view my time line all the steps has exact dates however yes vaciines are given on the first thursday of every money byt certain vacines are given by appointments only ....* fellow Trini* please give correct info, also police certificates are required when sending in your nvc docs so yes you need to have it done and if required another before the interview mines was done in jan,

My case status at NVC just updated to "In Transit", but at the bottom of the status they put in this info: "Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center.".

Has anyone else gotten this message? I was under the impression I had to schedule the interview after the status was "Ready", with me picking the date. Or is there a separate interview that I don't know about?

how the interview is scheduled is Embassy specific.  Some schedule and let you know, others are scheduled online by the beneficiary.

I received an email today but it said,

Your Form I-129F is within our current processing time. Please see our Web site at www.uscis.gov for processing times.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.
