We are waiting for this letter to arrive still. We got the alert on Thursday last week. Hopefully it'll arrive in the post this week

It won't get to you until Friday or possibly Saturday! Not knowing what it is is horrible!! I felt so helpless not knowing - there's no way to prepare for what it could be either :s.

you need to somehow stop thinking about it- I drove myself crazy and now I'm doing the same waiting for the approval.

CSC is close to where he live and it still took about 6 days to get to us!

Hi All, another silent reader here.  Just thought I would donate my info.  I understand the wait.  My case was received 1/30 and NOA1 2/1.

After waiting 90 days I made the first call to USCIS...of course you know what they said.  They knew nothing of system being down.  Luckily everyone was nice, but I didnt get anywhere.  So the third time I called, I asked for Tier 2 and told the original person answering the phone that I understood they only have so much info, and that i had been waiting a long time and need to talk to Tier 2 to get some info on my case.  So they did it without even asking me for my case number.  I got the call back from Tier 2, another nice person, and quite a bit more intelligent.  I explained the situation, and kind of complained that people with dates past ours were getting approvals...yet no movement on our K1.  I even asked if the person that had my case was on vacation lol.  I was told they all work at different speeds, then asked if he could please put in in faster hands...always being nice.  He gave the same response, cant make a complaint until it has been six months.

Of course checking the online checker, I got nothing but received.   But a week later, low and behold the NOA2 was in the mailbox.  I called on Tier 2 officer on 5/18 and strangely enough, on 5/19 the 129F was approved.   Just wanted to share.  Not sure if it helps any.  But i understand the stress.  Good luck to all.  It has been of great help to see others sharing the same issues.

Congrats!!!

Have it your head you sent it on Tuesday- as it was Memorial Day...factor that in too!

It could be anything from 2 weeks to a couple of months! (I'm waiting too!, ours was rfe was received on the 25th but I'm counting it as received on 30th)

Ugh really? That sucks. I was hoping it would get there today. Yeah I'm extremely anxious. Trying to switch off from it is hard. I suppose it's got to get from California to Louisiana. Other side of the states. Wish We had a switch off button for our mind. 😅

Feb 24 1st Noa, still waiting on 2nd Noa...this process is too slow. I know someone who filed early October and got approval 30 days in. What went wrong?

All things considered not slow compared to other processes. Here are a few of my all time favorites:

Waiting inline at the pharmacy at 6 pm.

Waiting inline at the post office...anytime.

Waiting behind a minivan filled with a bunch of 10 yo's and one adult in the McDonalds drive thru

Driving behind an overloaded hay tuck on a two-lane country road with about 10 miles of curves ahead

Waiting behind a first-timer at Starbucks trying figure out why a "tall" is the smallest size

My doctor's office. Actually any doctor's office

My NOA1 was 2/17, my NOA2 was 5/24. I received my NOA2 in the mail on 5/30. So if the pattern persist, perhaps you will see something next week.  The 30 day approval could have been an expedite, or just an amazing stroke of luck.  Why do some take longer? We may never know.  They say patience is a virtue, but I do understand that perception is reality.

My fiance called twice. However never got to speak to tier 2. But the day after he called the second time, we got alerted for an RFE. Thankful for this forum in ways that it gives us anxious people, people to talk to who understand. 😊

I'm so sorry that happened. How long ago did you request an expedite?

We requested an expedite when we submitted all our documents which was on Feb 17.

Did you also request an expedite?
