Fresh news from Interview- my visa was approved  it went very smooth, took 2 hours in the embassy. If anyone want I can describe step by step how it was. Im so happy and relieved  now time to go home!

Good Evening everyone, well i like many of ppl have been in the shadows of this Forum reading everyones comments and tracking you process so i want to share that our NOA1 date is Feb/17/2017 and today we FINALLYYYYY got our NOA2 APPROVAL with a date of May/24/2017!! i cannot put into words how blessed i feel and so ready for the next steps to come, i also want to point out that today was my last date from my VJ time estimated timeframe!! I will keep posting as we move on to the next steps! can anyone please give me the number to call the NVC to check on our case if they received it yet?

USCIS Tier 2 Update!

I was not sure they would call back. They did! I forgot and missed their call. :wacko: 11 minutes later they called again. I missed the phone call again. :wacko::unsure: 11 minutes later they called again. Caller ID is (800) 000-0000. I answered the call and heard a recorded message saying this was my third and final call. I waited 3 minutes and then the Agent answered the call. 

 

Very nice Agent. He asked for the reason I had called. I explained that I know that there are many applications after ours that have been approved but not appearing in the tracking. After he had my information, he put me on hold. **All I could do is CRY and PRAY while I waited.** He came back and said they were still processing December Petitions. I said but there are February Petitions being approved. He told me he could not confirm when ours would be processed. But while I was on hold, he had looked into the system and saw no pending issues with our Petition. He said, "Mr. Hornsby, I know this is a stressful time in your life. Please try and be patient and we will get to your application. "

 

Unlike the first phone call, I knew there was no were else to go from here. Even though he did not give me the answer I wanted, still gave me a little peace of mine. I called my Fiance. She is not happy with the length of time, but to hear him say everything looks fine will give her peace at least for awhile. 

 

I hope this bring a little hope to someone.

We got our NOA2 today!! We were February 15, approval date May 22. I started screaming, crying, and freaking out...looking for my phone to call my fiancee. So excited and a load off our shoulders. Good luck to those still waiting; it'll come!

I wanted to say something about IMBRA.  I met my fiancee on a Russian dating site.  It is a long story how I ended up there, but I did.  The men paid $35 a month.  The women paid nothing.  I checked YES for IMBRA on the fiancee visa application because I felt it was the honest thing to do.  The site allowed me to print an IMBRA form which stated I was divorced, had two children, and had no criminal record.  My fiancee signed it.  It was a one-page, very simple document.  We attached it and called it out in our cover letter.  We included screenshots of each of our first messages to each other from these websites, which was in July of last year.  I was really worried about it.  It seemed like a red flag to USCIS.  But we were approved without an RFE.  I just wanted to send this because I read so many "OMG IMBRA you are in trouble" messages and it caused me many nights of lost sleep.

Got NVC # today. NOA2 was 5/10/2017 so VJ forums really are a big help. Everyone saying on previous threads that about 2 - 3 weeks between NOA2 and NVC case # .

Congrats ! Nice to see someone else with the same recieved date as mine get their approval already ... 

Sadly i am still waiting on mine but i am hopefull for this week 😊

My fiancé just called me and woke me up, it is 3:36 am over here in Germany but he got a good reason: we are approved! 🎉
