You are absolutely right Trilobite...I have more fights and disagreements than I've ever had in my life with a partner but we refuse to give up.  Not only to have to contend with my problems here but hers also.  Aside from that you have to wrestle with the trust issue being in a reasonably new relationship being so far apart you always wonder what is exactly going on 2000 miles away in your absence but we have overcome that hurdle a while ago.  No one outside of this forum can understand the strength and endurance it takes to keep moving forward with the belief everything will work itself out in the end.  It will be all downhill from here once I have her with me.

You are dead on right. I suspect we are all dealing with these same issues and we are all super tough.

Hello everyone! Just want to ask you guys especially those who got their NOA2 already. ;)) Our service center is California.. I wonder how you guys filled up your form i-129f? Because ours, we left those questions not applicable or none blank as per i-129f instructions.. others put na or none on it. :((  those who left the questions blank if not applicable, did you get an rfe because of it? Thank you! :))

I left everything blank that didn't pertain to me and did not get an rfe.  On the g325a we wrote none where it specifically stated to do so (ie spouse/ ex spouse) but we still left blank where it asked about occupation abroad and had no problems.

I decided to make a copy of this page darken it and send it with a copy of my noa1 and an explanation...I'm hoping to preemptively deal with this...

I'm not sure if it's true, but I'm pretty sure I read that you can't send anything in until you actually get the rfe.

I did the same on my g325a.. None or NA.. I feel relieved.. Now I can positively think that we will not receive an rfe because of that.. :)) Thank you! And congratulations on your approval!

Hello everyone...I'm 112 days and waiting still for the NOA2...Application was received on Feb 6th, 2017 and still no word.  I'm feeling a bit more down than usual today, my Fiance's apartment was robbed this afternoon while she was out looking for a job.  I thank God that she is all right but of course she is devastated!  her favorite mirror and about $32 was stolen.  The mirror she said was very expensive and meant a lot to her, I can only imagine how she is feeling right now but all I can do is vent here on this forum.  We all have our stories of our loved ones and mine I would say is quite unique as well, I make ok money but it's still difficult to support myself and her from a far, kind of like paying everything twice.  I've been working whenever its become available but I'm getting close to burn out I think.  I really need to get my Fiance out of that shithole!  I went to visit her last month for a week and decided to stay with her in her new apartment instead of doing the usual hotel thing, figured I'd save a few dollars, etc.  They only have running water for an hour or two each week, electricity is off more than its on and you can't get any sleep or rest just about no matter what time it is.  There is always noise from motorcycles, cars, people cranking up obnoxious car stereos at 6am or the neighbor's insomniac roosters!  Who needs coffee to wake up in the morning when you are bathing out of a plastic garbage barrel full of cold water in the morning.  My fiance deserves better and I knew she did from the moment I met her.  She has been through so much and I just get the fallout.

Wow that's cray... my gal lives a little bit more sophisticated BUT still much lower quality than what I'm use too. They have running water and showers but no hot water... I hated that but got use to it and it was nice because it's was flipping hot there!! They also have no AC so sleeping was a to say the least lol!! They had parties going on behind her house every night starting around 9pm and didn't stop till 3am or so... their AC is fans... I don't see how they do it. I'd much rather pay a utility bill every month than live like that. Their water has to be filtered before drinking also... Where I live we have some of the best aqueducts in the states which means we have very clean and crisp water. I went and bought a huge barrel of water from Walmart when I was there and drank that. She also lives in a socialist country where the government is very corrupt... their last president was impeached because of corruption... money laundrying if I'm not mistaking... it's a prettt piss poor society from what I could tell... many people can't afford a car so they take public transportation... a lot of petty theft and muggers there... thank God I had nothing stolen while there. I did lose a pair of Oakley glasses in the ocean... they were close to 200 dollars. Over all it was a wonderful trip and my money went a good way... I left her with over 600 of her dollars which was like 300 USD. I expected to spend all of it but didn't come close to it. I truly feel blessed to be a citizen of the United States... it's easy to take for granted the things that so many people don't have.

You are absolutely right about the trust issue... me and my gal crossed this hurdle about a month or so ago... it was more of an issue on my part than hers... I was insecure and not being able to be with her has been a huge challenge for me... but I fully trust her now... I can't even say I get the "what if" thoughts to often now. It's more less just waiting for her to get here. It'll all be well worth it because the moment she is in my arms will be worth every bit of waiting I had to do.

That cold shower thing would get me. I am literally allergic to the cold. It's a rare condition where if water or air below 60 degrees F hits my skin, I blister up and can go into shock. I would just have to go without a shower and stink.

Oh dear... well I have to add that I don't believe it was less than 60 degrees or else I wouldn't have been taking a shower... I'd say it was just a little cooler than lukewarm or room tempature... it felt nice after sweating all day.

Please don't get me wrong, I don't mean to sound judgemental or anything like that, but I doubt that fights and trust issues can miraculously disappear when two people close the distance, they disappear when those two people learn how to communicate respectfully and put each other first.

We are going to celebrate our 2 year anniversary next week, and we've never had a fight. It's not because we are both angels, noo:) We just decided from the very beginning that communication and trust is the key, and we've been doing our best to make each other feel loved. I am not trying to boast here, just saying - now that most of us are limited to talking only, why not learn how to do it without hurting each other?

I do agree but at times the distance does add to issues because all you don't get the small gestures, the silent time spent together and being able to even have a hug!

you are very lucky if you haven't had a single fight in two years!!! - long distance is testing because you don't get to have the physical comfort or have that person be there when you need- the same time zone etc. when I've been with my fiancé (we have spent a lot of time together luckily) we don't argue and we are always laughing.

the time difference doesn't help and neither does the unknown, I've worked through (and am) working through my own trust issues.

to be honest I cant imagine us not having an argument in 2 years (EVER!!- even when we live with each other). it's not because we don't love each other, our disagreements usually consist of 'you made me feel like this by doing that' and trying to understand each other.

all I have to say if you are extremely lucky and its almost very Hollywood not having had an argument in 2 years!!
