Just an FYI to all of those waiting for the NOA2....my K1 was received February 2nd.....NOA1 on February 6th.....I called USCIS yesterday....I received the standard "we are working on December 15 cases....call back in mid July if you haven't heard anything".......even though I know the case before mine and the case after mine have both received RFEs.......

Anyone else losing patience? Anyone have any ideas on new ways to occupy time?

I will appreciate any ideas ;)

Look at pictures of you and your love... I'm doing that right now... thinking about how wonderful it will be to have her in my arms, hold her tight and kiss her lips... can't wait for the day we are joined as one man and one woman in a life long commitment to serve each other as spouses

I think that's a great idea MKM1993 & Great photo by the way!,...posting photos reminds us all what we are fighting for and also reminds us of a happier time...I hope you've been practicing your Portuguese LOL.

I only know a few words and one sentence. She is going to have to teach me. I've got an app but I am not a good learner with it. She knows English pretty well... I'm lacking that's for sure lol.

I wouldn't read too much into this...they set the bar high on waiting time so people don't keep calling and taking up their resources.  I have a personal belief that they have like an assembly line in which they have people look for some of the main things first, if these main things aren't there they go right to the RFE pile.  If they appear to be all there for required documents an sufficient evidence then it goes down the assembly line for further examination.  This type of process would only make sense and my case is surrounded by RFE cases also but mine hasn't been labeled as such yet.  And yes, do keep yourself busy, I have had gotten a second job and am on the verge of a nervous breakdown LOL.  The unemployment rate is ridiculously high where my Fiancee is and even if you do get a job it pays about a $100 a month working 80 hrs a week...I'm not joking.  It is cheaper to live there but to survive it's about $400 a month if no emergencies come up!  My Fiancee has been looking for work for months, her mother has been searching since December and nothing.  I could go into a lot more detail about the injustices they suffer but I want to try to stay positive and keep my faith in God strong that he will see us through all of this!  We have suffered sooo much and I can't believe I'm still standing and functioning.  I never thought I would be tested in such ways but when you know something is just right in your heart, there is no other option.  My prayers and thoughts go out to all of you in similiar situations.

The data doesn't suggest the assembly line thing. I've been watching the data and scanning data for 2 months now and we see people with RFEs all around them wait another 4 weeks and then get an RFE. We also consistently see people getting approved with an NOA1 date 2 months after someone else, who then gets an RFE or approved. There is no rhyme or reason to it. USCIS is the king cluster F.

I taught myself Spanish many years ago, I am always learning throughout life, but without my extensive knowledge of it I would have never met my soon to be wife as she doesn't speak any English LOL but I did bring her an Idiot's guide for learning English LOL...not that she is of course but that's how I first started my journey to learning Spanish...Its starts you off at the very basics...being bi-lingual has opened up my mind and entire life to so many experiences and ideas I would have never witnessed.  Once I bring her here she will be on a crash course to learning our language of course, it's an absolute necessity here.

Wow Trilobite...I'm really confused now!  Well, if there listed processing time dictate anything the Feb filers could be waiting until possibly July for an answer then.

I go on the assumption that I should get approved within to the same window that others are seeing, however, I expect to get approved in July or August to keep my rage in check.

:)  That's what I would love to see, but I have gotten my hopes up too many times with this recently, only to be crushed. I am just setting my eyes on July/August and if I get approved before then, then I will just have a pleasant surprise.

Wow that's awesome that you took that step to do that... I'm just a ol' Mississippi boy that knows redneck English haha!! I'll use southern slang words like "I reckon so" and she has no clue what I'm saying lol... I also pronounce my days of the week different and I've tried to teach her the southern way to do it... Mundey, Tuesdey, Wensdey, Thursdey, Frydey, Saturdey, Sundey 😂 She thinks it's hilarious... so maybe I'll have some success turning her into a true southern belle but I have my doubts lol!! As for learning Portuguese I'm excited to do so... I want to be able to communicate with her folks... thank God for google translate
