Greetings everyone! I just registered an account here, I stumbled across this thread doing a google search because I also filed the I-129F and it was received by USCIS on Feb 6, 2017.  I'm amazed at all the information I've learned from going to past thread pages, I received my NOA1 about a week after Feb 6 when USCIS received my application and I'm still waiting for the NOA2, still no status change online either.  I did look at the spreedsheet on the google drive and my case# is somewhere in the 500's, it appears that all the cases before and after mine have been marked with RFE so I'm assuming and hoping that this is how they weed out the applications at first so people can get started on the RFE's and that mine has been approved.  All of your posts have given me hope and encouragement just knowing that there are others experiencing what I am is too.  None of my friends, family or co-workers really understand the dynamics of stress over money, problems from a far and longing to be with your loved one but those of you here certainly do so thank you for sharing some of your feelings on the matter.  I will have to upload a photo of myself and my fiancee when I get home today.  I will say that I did use this website extensively when gathering up the documents for the I-129F application, I invested months of hard work into it and I can scarcely believe they would not approve it.  I included an overwhelming amount of evidence and certified every copy of documents that I could.  By the time we finish this process they should give my my law degree LOL!!!  I live in CT and my fiancee is from the Dominican Republic, I have visited her a total of 3 times since we met from July to present.  Please feel free to ask me any questions or if anyone may have additional news.  Thanks again for starting this thread!

Just in case you missed it. The scans do not show approvals that have happened. USCIS either has a broken case checker or they simply stopped updating the checker. I stopped publishing my scans because that point was just too confusing and hard to explain over and over.

I wish you a speedy approval!

Thank you Trilobite, I think I remember reading that some pages back but its reassuring to hear from you...but then again having a broken scanner is discouraging also for myself and everyone else here I'm sure.  I don't know how you get the nightly scans and you are privy to that information but please keep up the great work, its much appreciated!

Many of us have written code that scrapes it from the case checker. The cases are in sequential order and spit out the text "I-129F" when a person checks, so it's pretty easy. The point is, don't trust the data from the scans and check your actual mail.

So this is me thinking ahead ... i have not recieved by NOA2 yet but i have been wondering ....

Does the embassy in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico accept co-sponsors ? I already know i am going to have to use my father as a co-sponsor.

Also, do i have to file an I-134 form for each with supporting documents for each (father and I) ?

Or

just one form for my father ?

On a more positive note. When I was still scanning the data, I noticed that those who submit the proper forms/fees correctly don't seem to get denied at the USCIS stage. In fact, the data shows that only about 2% of all who have petitioned recently get denied. An RFE is not ideal, but at least your case is touched and on the way to approval. The wait, the lackadaisical/rude attitude from USCIS and lack of transparency are definitely discouraging, but hang in there, our time will likely be soon. We can help each other over the finish line.

We just scheduled our interview... It is crazy how fast everything is going once we received the NOA2. I mailed out all of the original documents, and signatures needed yesterday. It is VERY VERY VERY Exciting.

For those who don't see the finish line yet... hang in there. The NOA1 -> NOA2 is the longest part.

Best of luck all!

Noa2 ain't nobody got time for that. I'm just thinking positive Trilobyte that if I haven't heard anything back it has probably been approved already and I just received no notification of it.

Thanks for staying positive. I find everyday getting harder. I imagine it is like a woman in pregnancy. Once the baby is born, the remberance of the Journey fades quickly. I imagine, once the Interviewer says congratulations, the pain of the journey will no longer be in our thoughts.

But it until then. 😫😩😤😫😩😤😫😩😤

Have a Great Memorial Day everyone!

Might not be what any of us think.  I found this on Indeed.com

NATIONAL VISA CENTER Employee Reviews

Not a great company to work for.

VISA PROCESSING SPECIALIST (Former Employee) –  Portsmouth, NH  April 2, 2017
Job was very complicated and not easy to meet expectations. Management was not very supportive. Meeting expectations. This job was temporary positon and again did not meet expectations.
Pros
Nothing was exciting about the job.
Cons
Nothing was exciting about the job.

Nice people to work for/Flexibel

Clerical/Data Entry (Former Employee) –  Portsmouth, NH  April 30, 2017
Good place to work. Compensation definitely needs help though. Able to learn alot about the immigration process. CEO and President need to be more compassionate towards their employees
Pros
Flexible hours
Cons
lousy pay

You will become divorced if you work here

Wife of a manager (Current Employee) –  Portsmouth, NH  February 19, 2017
Ran like high school. Drama around every corner. Everyone I know who works there or has worked there is divorced or cheating with someone else who works here. Management is unprofessional passing notes to girl employees about their relationships. Unprofessional environment as they allow management to start relationships with those under them. This place breeds harassment, misconduct, and adulterous humans.
Pros
None
Cons
You'll no longer be in a relationship. Maybe that's a pro.

Nothing new here. Most government job, civilian job or military jobs have the same issues

Just an FYI to all of those waiting for the NOA2....my K1 was received February 2nd.....NOA1 on February 6th.....I called USCIS yesterday....I received the standard "we are working on December 15 cases....call back in mid July if you haven't heard anything".......even though I know the case before mine and the case after mine have both received RFEs.......

Anyone else losing patience? Anyone have any ideas on new ways to occupy time?

I will appreciate any ideas ;)

I wouldn't read too much into this...they set the bar high on waiting time so people don't keep calling and taking up their resources.  I have a personal belief that they have like an assembly line in which they have people look for some of the main things first, if these main things aren't there they go right to the RFE pile.  If they appear to be all there for required documents an sufficient evidence then it goes down the assembly line for further examination.  This type of process would only make sense and my case is surrounded by RFE cases also but mine hasn't been labeled as such yet.  And yes, do keep yourself busy, I have had gotten a second job and am on the verge of a nervous breakdown LOL.  The unemployment rate is ridiculously high where my Fiancee is and even if you do get a job it pays about a $100 a month working 80 hrs a week...I'm not joking.  It is cheaper to live there but to survive it's about $400 a month if no emergencies come up!  My Fiancee has been looking for work for months, her mother has been searching since December and nothing.  I could go into a lot more detail about the injustices they suffer but I want to try to stay positive and keep my faith in God strong that he will see us through all of this!  We have suffered sooo much and I can't believe I'm still standing and functioning.  I never thought I would be tested in such ways but when you know something is just right in your heart, there is no other option.  My prayers and thoughts go out to all of you in similiar situations.

Nice, isn't it? They just make that "we are working on cases date" whatever they want to shut us up. They just assume that everyone is stupid even after I have told them on the phone that the cases are in sequential order and we can see what's getting worked. They just repeat the same stuff. Either they are incapable of actual thought or they don't care one iota about us or both. This is where I'm at with it. This is putting it kindly. :)
