Recieved our case number tonight from the NVC. Although still says "at NVC". The lady said it hadn't been fully created yet, but will be sent to London soon once it has.

Question: does anyone know if they mail this to London or is everything sent through email?

Ps. It was my first call to the nvc. And I think they must have just recieved it. 16 days since we got approved.

After 34 days, I FINALLY got a different response to "Has my case been received"!!!!! As soon as she asked our names and his DOB, I knew that it was FINALLY in their hands. Our petition was received today and assigned a case number today!!!!! I am sssoooo relieved - I was beginning to worry that it was lost somewhere. Now on to Delhi!

Thanks, @RaptureSongbird and @TriloByte for your encouragement!! :D

Congratulations!

Yes, thanks. I hope so too. My fiancé 's interview is on 8/14. We could have scheduled for an earlier date but instead we scheduled for a date I will be off from my job so that I can attend the interview and of course also enjoy some beach time and a couple of magaritas!!😄

Good luck to all who have upcoming interviews as well. I hope everything goes smoothly and will be problem free.

Cheers!

You guys will do great! And yes! Margaritas and the beach are always the primary choice 🙃. Good luck!

I have a question do yall think someone who has a travel visa for more than 20 years (renewed once) and travelled multiple times on it and never overstayed on any given trip has a safer chance doing the fiance visa process or to some extent is guaranteed an approval once the interview questions are answered 'correctly'  ??

Hi Neighbor,

While it is absent of complications, it also seems to not be a 'credit' in the reasons to approve column.  I believe the validity of the relationship is all they are going to consider, and the merits of the relationship alone.

I'm sure you have those bases covered, and everything will work out fine :)

That's great news! The mail in Delhi is horrible so I am relieved. I am confused about the biometrics, though. I've seen the instructions in different places and it seems a little confusing... are the biometrics taken on the same day as the interview or different days?

We are January filer but want to put a light of hope to those who are still waiting for NOA2. Just want to inform you that finally today at 1:00pm, July 14th my fiance received an email from USCIS. It's written like this:

On 06/28/2017, you contacted USCIS concerning your I-129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.
Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 days.
*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice , Request for Evidence, or Notice of Intent to Deny.
We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience

____

An hour later, at 1:50pm my fiance received another email from USCIS. It's written an they mailed Request of an Additional Evidence.

I know it sounds crazy, knowing that they just touched our case today after we have been waiting for 176 days (6 months). I thought that our file is lost and we will not received anything. In the other side, I feel grateful now, knowing that they finally touched our file.

For all of you who still waiting of NOA2, i can't say to be patient because i can't be patient as well (it's hard even though i tried). Just accept the situation and keep trying to contact them once or twice in a month, and then just waiting and waiting and waiting.. And then send an online inquiry when it's outside normal processing time. It takes two weeks for them to reply our online inquiry (we sent online inquiry through their website on June 28th). Everything will takes process. Everything happens for a reason. I wish you all will hear something from them soon.

NJ

Finally! I've been following you and hoping you heard something soon. Congrats, even if it's an RFE.
