I checked the Case Tracker App thinking it still didn't work, but when I refreshed it, it said "Case was approved" and that they will mail the notice approval. I AM BEYOND HAPPY! The waiting was so frustrating.

 

Our receive date was 02/09/17

NOA1 02/14/17

NOA2 06/02/17

 

I hope you all get your approval very soon, I know how hard the waiting can be.  I got my fingers crossed for y'all! 😄

So we all noticed that the USCIS case tracker is not working properly the last few weeks...

 

We received the NOA2 in the mail but the online case status is still on received.

 

I'm just wondering if the approved cases will eventually also change to approved on the USCIS website or if they will be stuck on "received" since USCIS forwarded the cases to NVC?

My Fiancé is really struggling sitting at home starring at the walls. Here county has an employment contract for basically every job, so she can not find work. Because of the problems with USCIS, she is losing faith in our way of governing. The distance and time is growing daily. I imagine once NOA2 is complete, it will be easier. 

 

Here is my favor. What advice would you give to the other women that are in this position with you?

My fiancee doesn't work either. She likes to plan out the future for us and shop for our new apartment. Exercise is a really good option too, as it builds the body up, rather than the stress tearing it down. Of course, we all know, this is easier said than done, and even exercise doesn't numb the pain of the wait, completely. There's also much that she needed to do before and after NOA2. Criminal BG checks, medical stuff, affidavit of support, collecting more evidence, etc. The last thing you want is to have NOA2, NVC, etc, finished, and then have to delay everything looking for medical records etc.

 

When we are "together" we like to watch comedies, listen to music together, play games, chat, talk on the phone, read to each other, make videos, share photography, come up with food recipes, plan out our new life, etc.. We try to avoid discussions about "The Letter", and if there's any good news we try to focus on it instead of the wait. 

 

It's just a rough road, but stay strong, it's def worth it.

Our receive date was 9th of February and we got approved today. Hang in there, you'll get your approval soon. I have been frustrated for the past couple weeks, but it came when I least expected it.

Received NOA2 today in the mail, June 2.  Notice date was 5/26/2017.

Thankyou for letting me know! its kind of scary when I see people who have applied 2 weeks later get theirs already. Thanks hopefully it will be soon good luck with the remaining of the process!!

yes I called diff times of day and same thing happen, I just kept calling and finally on hold for 15 min at n time.  I couldn't wait each time cuz of work, they r open until midnight, I did get thru and copied my # wrong missing n digit lol I didn't bring original noi2, after all that waiting, I also emailed them last wed and waiting. I will try again. so keep dialing until they put u on hold

Greetings to everyone I've been a guy hanging around this forum for a while but never been vocal just a lurker I suppose.😂Well today I received my approval in the mail NOA 1 was 2/16 ..I hope everyone does the same very soon lots of great folks on here deserving of moving on to the next step....I like most have had bad days filled with random tears over missing my forever love. And have tried to work alot hang out with friends and family take countless walks but living alone there still is a void in my life but I hope today we took a big move forward to filling that void and I certainly want to pass along my best wishes to everyone on here this is a great forum for helping everyone deal with the painful process of filing a petition.

Hey all, another newbie/lurker here waiting til I had some useful numbers to contribute.

But first, I wanted to send my love to everyone on this forum, the support and information we provide one another is invaluable. An extra thank you to those who run the scans. Speaking for myself, being able to know roughly what's going on out there has at times kept me sane, and given me strength to fend off the anxiety and pain.

Today my fiancee and I are blessed to have received our NOA2. Dates as follows:

Petition received by CIS: 2/22

NOA1 issued by CIS: 2/27

NOA2 issued by CIS: 5/25

NOA2 showed up in the mailbox: 6/2

 

To all still waiting, you WILL get there! My heart goes out to you all, in spirit we are all sharing this journey together, and our love will get us there.
