You won't need it until the interview, at least I know we need it for Cuba.

He got it early on advice from someone I asked who sent it in with their K-1 application, but all the advice and recommendations on VJ say that you don't need it until the interview, so I'll just have it for safe keeping until the interview since I'll be attending it with him.

hello Did u received your NOA2?

Friends, I got my NOA2, my suggestion if someone needs more evidence, you need to show a lot of pics with friends of your fiancé, family, tickets flights, pictures of letters made on hands, conversations of all social media, a lot of picture together, if you fly to USA, you always came back your country in the correct days. While more Information is better.

good luck for everyone.

Not necesarily. We had only pasaport stamps, boarding passes and couple photographs. That was it. Accepted in 87 days sińce noa1. We were adviced to not put too much and nothing Extra to the packet from a person who used to work in uscis service center

We are February 15 and still no news. I know to be patient, but the closer we get to a NOA2 supposedly, the farther it seems. I got us a new apartment to move into, but feels unreal, like she'll never actually be here to live in it with me until I have that in my hands!

Until I do, I will continue to post and whine on this thread, hahaha!

Hi all. Feb 14 filer here. Yesterday (May 22) our case was touched, but they didn’t approve us. Instead, a request for additional evidence was mailed. This was updated on the USCIS website in the “Check your case status”, but it was not updated on the app. The app still just says case was received.

Once I get the letter that list what they need, I will mail the evidence requested back asap. I honestly have no idea what they could possibly need, we were so sure we submitted everything.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes them to look at the evidence I will mail back in before they make a decision? Is it usually somewhat quick, or will my application go back in the bin and take months again before they look at it? I can’t imagine having to wait so long again before we hear anything.

Anyone else's fiancee partially moved into your place while you wait on USCIS? I have most of her clothes, make-up, dishes, candles, furniture we bought together etc, as constant reminders of her. For me, it's bittersweet, knowing her home is here, but then the reminders can be tough during the wait. I have left some things as they were when she last touched them, tricking my brain into thinking she just left yesterday.

Our visa would be mailed to Campinas, but we are not sure if we should stick around in Rio to get it in person.
