Cover letter for AOS

Hello guys I have been working on my AOS for about 5 months now and wellbut we are almost ready.

 

Does anybody have a cover letter so we can use it as a reference to write ours?

Nature of the submission: I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status,

To Whom It May Concern:

Enclosed please find Form I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Form G-325A Biographic Information sheet, Form I-131 Application for Travel Document and Form I-765 Application for Employment Authorization and supporting documents, followed by Form I-864 Affidavit of Support and supporting documents. My eligibility is based on admission as the fiancée of a U.S. citizen and subsequent marriage to that citizen within 90 days of entry.

 

Contents include:

- Money order: Payment in the amount of $1070 (Biometrics fee included)

- I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status

- G-325A, Biographic Information Sheet and six (2+2+2) passport style photos

- I-131 Application for Travel Document

- I-765 Application for Employment Document
- Copy of Form I-797 Notice of Action (Approval Notice)
- Copy of international Birth certificate (“civic registration certificate” with certified English Translation )
- Copy of passport, biographic pages, non-immigrant K1-visa and entry stamp pages
- Print-out of electronic form I-94
- Certified Copy of Marriage Certificate
- DS-3025 vaccination documentation worksheet showing US vaccination requirements COMPLETE

- I-864 Affidavit of Support
- Federal income tax return, including W-2 for the year 2015
- Letter of employment
- Copy of pay stubs within the last 6 months
- Copy of US citizen’s passport

- Copy of Apartment Lease as proof of joint residency


Copies of documents submitted are exact photocopies of unaltered documents and I understand
that I may be required to submit original documents to an Immigration or Consular officer at a later date.

thank you so basically i wil need 7 photos of me ( the beneficiary) and 2 of my wife US citizen? Am i correct?

uhm... if you're filing from K1 and the forms listed then you need 6 photos of the applicant. 2 for each form that requires it.

For AOS you are the applicant.

I'm filing from a B1 visa and I have read all the instructions and the part about the photos are nowhere to be found

Actually atm I can't find that the current i-131 requires it. The instructions were changed when the new forms came out in December and it seems you are only required to submit photos for the i-131 if you are applying from outside the US. So I suppose it would mean 4 photographs now
