Hello VJ'ers ,  I posted earlier with a different heading , I am re posting with  a clearer topic/title  hoping to get a reply.

So I am travelling to Canada to attend a relative's wedding . I have conditional GC until 2018 with my married name, I am using my Phil passport in my old name ( as it is not yet due for renewal) with Canadian Visa , my ticket is same name as in the passport. Just need to get information if its alright to do this and if it will pose a problem given the current immigration rules and chaos? I am taking all relevant documents like marriage contract etc. Would appreciate anyone who can share information. Thank you.

This is fine provided you carry a copy of your marriage certificate evidencing the name change.

Not a problem at all. Just got back from our recent trip, they just ask for my conditional green card(married name) and I told them that my passport was still on my maiden name. But I do have my Marriage Contract on hand just in case they'll ask :)

Thank you so much. Should I show them my GC along with my passport in the immigration?
