does RFE for I-485 delay the I-765?

hey guys;

i recently got an RFE from USCIS based on the affidavit of support. I have been waiting on documents from the IRS hence its taking me a little time to resend the information that they wanted. USCIS stated in the RFE that processing will be halted, so i'm wondering if they will stop working on my work permit (I-765) or does the 90 days window still apply to me?

 

Also they need proof of permanent residency for my co-sponsor, will just a copy of his green card be good enough (he's not a citizen yet)?

I also received an RFIE for my affidavit of support, we responded within 10 days, and my husband got his EAD 71 days after filing, well within the 90 days. I would definitely get your response together as quickly as you can and send it back ASAP.

August 2015 - Met in person

November 27, 2015 - Married <3

1-8-16: Filed I-130

5-13-16: I-130 Approved

9-20-2016: Mailed AOS Docs (I-485/I-765/I-131)

9-22-2016: AOS Docs received

10-21-16: RFI for I-864 (Affidavit of Support)

10-31-16: RFI response mailed

11-4-16: RFI response received
