Will the processing of the K1 application for my fiancé from Iran continue during President Trump's ban?  I just finished and submitted my application.

Wait and see. Trump said ban will lift after necessary process is implemented to add security. If you are already in the U.S. using a K1 visa, then you won't have to worry. If you have a I-129F petition it depends. You may be approved but won't be able to enter at this point. So it is hard to say.

Atm visas are being issued as normal. Ofc it will take a while until you are at the visa stage. From now until then I'm sure there will be much happening in the courts for you to pay attention to. As said above, the i-129f will processs as normal

there is no ban but I have been waiting for my NOA2 for 104 days.... I do not know what the delay is ... i Keep seeing everyone getting it in 85 to 95 days?

I will put in a request for an update tomorrow ... has anyone else had long delays when it is an Iranian moving to the US?

Thanks in advance for any info.

My husband had his CR1 visa interview in Ankara on September 23, 2016. He was put on administrative processing and we had 1 update in late september, 2 updates in October, 1 in november and the last update in mid december. So our last update was over 5 months ago. He contacted the embassy a month ago to ask about the status of his visa. They just said it's in administrative processing with no other details. Also I contacted the Iranian American Bar association several weeks ago because they requested the information of any spouse or Iranian visa applicant that has been waiting in administrative processing for over 6 months. They think the extra long waiting times have been getting worse due to a bias they may have with Iranian applicants. They recently compiled a report and according to them, the 'average' wait is now up to 11 months! My husband has been in AP for 8 months and we both are pessimistic that he will be here in the summer. We think the AP might not finish until 2018 because we are rarely hearing of anyone on immigrant visas getting cleared recently.

My Fiance said that Iranians are treated better in Yerevan Armenia so she had me change the requested embassy.....I hope you get good news soon!
