Hi everybody, i received today N400 notice of action1 from USCIS, i sent my application 15 days ago, i just have a few questions please:

1- The letter is coming from  National Benefits center, is all Notices comes from NBC, im asking just because in my previous applications i was receiving letters from USCIS homeland security i guess

2. The letter says verify the personal information and give us a call if there is any changes, do i have to call them is there is no changes?

3. How can i check my status online later using this notice? i see there is receipt number should i use this number ? how?

Thanks, i appreciate your help

1) National Benefits Center is part of the USCIS.  It's a service center just like the Vermont Service Center.

2) no, call them if there are changes

3) on the USCIS website  https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

If you go to USCIS.gov, you go to 'TOOLS' then slide over to the left where the drop down says "check your case status online".  the above page will show and you enter your NBC number in there.  then it should give a statement about where your status is at.  It never gives personal information, just a statement as to your status.  For example, when you get scheduled for an interview, it will change to "you have been scheduled for an interview and will receive an appointment date in the mail, etc. etc. "  it will not tell you your date.  hope this helps!
