Hello everyone, me and my husband having a joint bank account, I haven't open my own just because I didn't need to, and now I am about to get a job and wondering if joint bank account will be ok for the employers? Because originally it's my husband's account and he just added me to his account and I worry if the bank won't accept any payments from employer if I'll give my employer just my name and not husband's?

Sorry for silly question.

Congrats on starting a job soon!

If you're listed as a joint account holder, it should be just fine. My wife and I both have our paychecks deposited into our joint account and there's never been an issue.

I think you can do it either way.  In our credit union it was very easy to create a new account form my wife that was tied to mine, but still separate.  We put each other as joint owners of the two accounts and it is easy to transfer money between the two when needed.  This is just an example, I thInk you are fine with how you have it set up as well.

Good Luck!
