Mailed in -  Feb 24th.

Email notice - March 8th (Routed to Texas service center)

NOA1 hardcopy - March 16th

Now the wait.

Any NOA2's yet? Or way too soon?

Did see a case or 2 in January and February got NOA2 but i guess that's not the norm.

Today marks my first month and i hope the estimated time from VJ is accurate!

I know I was surprised when I saw some people have their NOA2 at 30 days, but according to the timeline the estimate is 60+ days  for Texas Service center. Nothing to do but wait I guess lol

Expect NOA2 for February/Texas in 3 Months - 4 Months ... Around July/August in my opinion

They are sending a lot of applications from Nebraska to Texas which will definitely slow down the process

also notice the graph here ... NOA1 --> NOA 2 ... http://www.visajourney.com/content/ir1cr1historical

The time is going up for Texas .. definitely wont be 2-3 months anymore ...

i would ignore the people who received noa2 in 1 month's time ..  most likely they either expedited or made a error in updating their timeline

Best of luck :) tick tock !!!

Hi all, I also filed in February and have been assigned to Potomac Service Center. I have been trying to check my status online but my receipt number comes back as invalid. Has anyone else had any problems with their receipt number being invalid on USCIS website?

Have you tried it on the mobile app?

I just tried it and it still says invalid. I am really concerned now.

It's indeed unusual but have you also tracked other cases (put a number from 1 to 200 in the box next to your case number) , what is the result?

For example if you put 10, you will get results of my number and the next 10 case numbers (if my number is ABC12345, i will get results from ABC12345 to ABC12354)
