Hey, sorry for the late reply. Im at tsc. The RFE was about our marriage certificate, needed to be in original language with the translation. Just sent it off today.

So the RFE was for our marriage certificate. They wanted copy of original and not just original translation.

Still not updated on USCIS website

NVC have not assigned the case number yet. Hopefully, they will assign it fast.

Anybody got NVC case number assigned or any email/mail from NVC. 

 

TSC approved I-130 on 8/21/2017. NVC have not received case from USCIS yet.

 

Getting impatient.Calling NVC everyday.

It takes about 2 weeks to get your welcome letter

For those of you that got approved, i have a question: 

i got approved Aug 21st (got a letter in the mail). today, Sep 1, my status finally changed on the uscis website saying that on Sept 1 they sent my documents to Department of State. so which date should I go by? is it gonna take 6 weeks from today to get NVC welcome letter or did the countdown start from Aug 21 when i got my approval letter (NOA 2)??? help..kind of confused
