Quick question to anyone who may be able to answer I reside in TX 10 min from the service center. But yet my service center is Nebraska, Ive been asked numerous times why my documents where sent there ...I have no idea even visa journey has emailed me asking me if I'm sure my service center is Nebraska, saying it should be Texas or California. It honestly doesn't matter to me. Just wish I could get a response after all these months have passed an nothing I'm jus like😕😕😕

Sorry i need some help again, husband was punching in the phone numbers that appeared in "record unmatch" message, and he said it's robot voice and he chose the option of getting it sent but never asked for his current address!!

What is the number that we actually should be calling?

No worries. We help each other :)

If you try to request it via mail online, the address you need to key in was the last address that IRS has on file and it has to be exactly the same in their file. But be careful online because it wont send on current address, they will send it automatically to the address they have on file, be in old address and it wont be nice because if someone else is living in there would know the SSN of your husband.

However you can call IRS, my husband couldn't find the number he called before but you can try this from IRS website:  To order by phone, call 800-908-9946 and follow the prompts. Your husband must verify everything though and request to be mailed to current address.

I remember reading the Nebraska thread or somewhere in VJ someone has posted a geographical table / list for where you live and where your case would be sent.

People in Southern CA would be in Texas and people in Texas are in Nebraska.

But i cant dig it out now i saw it too randomly....

He called that number already and it was the automated phone instructions, which he had it sent but it's a PO box so i hope no one else is using it....

I'm now trying to get him to call the customer services instead, maybe that would help, otherwise he can just change his address, we still have not received NOA2 so it should be enough time hopefully.....

Thank you so much for your help:P!!!!!

Initially we had ours sent to old address and my husband freak out because of his SSN , hence he called to be cancelled and requested for new one.

Maybe cs works :) You will get NOA2 soon and it is always better to get things ahead of time :)

BREAKING NEWS! I got my approval (NOA 2) yesterday in the snail mail. Here the specifics of my case:

-Service Center: Texas

-PD: Feb 10

-Approval Date (NOA2): July 28 (took 168 days)

-RFE: None (marriage certificate from the US, which I think it's why they didn't ask for birth certificates)

-Got NOA 2 in the snail mail (No website updates, no email, no text message)

Let me know if you have any questions I can help answer :)
