Hello,

I guess in same situation as many filled on January and still waiting for NOA2 seeing so many approvals lately gives me hope, but my case is in Nebraska! 😕 Been married for two years already husband wanted to live in CR first, didn't like it so we start the other process around on January 7, got our NOA1 in January 10, loosing hope, feeling sad, why doing the things correctly have to be so slow!!

We Have not called them at all and my wife is so busy saving lives in the hospital...

Seeing February approvals from other centers is breaking my heart, knowing Nebraska is still processing November cases!

I am happy for you guys don't get me wrong, I truly am. You deserve it, we are all going through a lot.

To my fellow Nebraska filers, stay strong. Let's hope they pick up the pace and go through December and January a little faster.

I am trying to stay strong but feeling rather discouraged... It doesn't seem right that we have to get an additional 3-months to our processing time just simply because we happened to get assigned Nebraska as a processing center.

It is truly heartbreaking. But I'm trying to stay positive and think hey, those extra 3-4 months might mean a slightly faster NVC processing (which sometimes happens, so the overall CR1 takes each couple between 12-14 months on average, which would be fair after all) But it's speculation, there is no way of knowing how long it will take us. I'm also hoping they will go faster now that they're almost done with November.

Unfortunately even if it isn't right, it's a cold process to them, a job. They are not the ones apart from their loved ones, or undergoing financial and emotional hardship, so they're in no rush to speed up the process. But we have to stay strong because one day, this year (or longer) process  will be a distant memory and a cool story to tell!

Yeah, i looked at the USCIS data on received applications for Q4 and Q1 - they definitely had fewer applications during Q1. They still have a major backlog from Q4 but i am praying they can get through it fast. Like you said, this too shall pass.

I called yesterday and talked to a tier 2 officer.  My case is in someone's hands but he couldn't tell me how long it would take, but he did submit a ticket so I can get a document listing the progress via mail in the next 4 days.   I'm not to clear on what detail it gives but I asked him to go ahead and send it to me.  Hopefully it will be helpful.  I miss my husband so much I wish it was easier to visit :(

Anyone else in Nebraska has seen their case just continue to move further and further away? It started in August 24th -September 3d or so, and now it's here. I know it's not an exact science and they still might pick up their pace a bit and it will continue to change,  but damn.

* Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between October 12, 2017 and October 28, 2017*. - This will put us at almost 9 months just for approval. Without considering possible RFEs. Balls.

I called the number off their web site.  I talked to the tier1 who answered for a bit then asked to talk to a tier2 officer.  They put you through an automative service where you can enter your phone number and then they will call you back (mine was in 10 min).  Tier2 is way more helpful if you have not tried it yet I highly recommend it.
