Congratulations,

So that means that they already started with February wow.

Potomac processing tends to be faster than most centers. Texas processing dates currently vary greatly depending on whether the petition is by USC or PR.

Some of us who are with Nebraska are probably still looking at another 60days..

I follow around 500 cases for February/March in Nebraska on an app

And  none but ONE case has been accepted. They're still stuck on November for the rest of us.

Case 568 * You lucky son of a gun.

*yeah that was the 568th case to arrive on the 8th, alone.

This whole process is crazy.

Are you serious? There is actually one that got accepted - how is that even possible? This is such a random process.

Right? I was thinking maybe it's an expedite?

It looks so weird because it's literally the only one amongst 499 other Nebraska cases.  I know other service centers are 1-2 months ahead of us, but to see one accepted on the same service center seems so random indeed.

I think you should have a little faith and only worry about it when it's way past your time frame. You still have a few months to go as NSC still in November.

See this link with recent approvals and all the beneficiaries are from Mexico! I hope it ease your mind a little and I'm sure you will get it when it's Feb filer's turn!

I know we're 1-2 months behind other centers :)

I have other particular aspects of my case that worries me. It's not the waiting, but me being afraid of being denied or getting RFEs  for those reasons.

Thanks for the support!

Hi guys i have a friend who just received his immigrant visa last week and he told me that once the process gets to NVC there will come a point that travelling will be a no no. We are not at that point as yet. So it is perfectly safe to travel until then. And i understand why travelling would be a problem then because we need to be in home country in order to complete the process.

My advice is to relax go visit honey boos and enjoy yourselves.

Just seeing this and this is very much not true. Very wrong information. There's no "No NO" period. If a Beneficiary anytime during processing wants to apply for a visitor visa they surely can do so. Depending where they live and how much evidence they have to show strong ties is always the deciding factor.

I know someone who applied after case complete to get here to meet and say goodbye to spouses dying parent. They went back and had their interview. And this was from Nigeria.

@lazybones18 nope it's not just you...I laughed so hard when I read your comment in regards to the arguing and fighting over stupid things because my husband and I do the same with me usually being the instigator😂 I tell my husband it's because this process has got me emotionally and physically drained and I want him here NOW!! I have my good and my bad days because I miss my husband so much, but we make it a point to talk everyday on the phone, text, or chat...I have kept myself busy by picking up a part time job that seems to keep me sane and the fact that I will be seeing him next month is even better...

Hang in there...We are almost there!

I'm a us citizen and I filed for my wife from the Philippines. My case was received with a NOA1 on February 27,2017. Anyone filed on February too and experiencing delays on uscis website? Their site says they're up to September 2016 but on visajourney it says uscis is up to January 2017, how accurate is this?

Im praying February filers get approved by July or August 🙏🏼

And Good luck to all you guys!

Does anyone have their cases sent to Texas processing center?

Im really hoping for a July or August NOA2 and not a longer delay.

For Nebraska center they're up to October 2016, and Texas center are up to September 2016.
