can someone help with some information im looking for...im getting married in jordan and we want to do a court house wedding....im coming from the united states.....what does the court house require from me??? do we need blood tests??? do we have to visit the embassy for anything??? and is there any costs involved....thank you

Your post is a bit confusing. What visa are you applying for? If you want specific information regarding weddings in Jordan I think you'll have to have your fiancé find out for you.

i am not applying for a visa...im getting married in jordan....we want to get married in a court house...we do not want a big wedding....my question is what do they require at the court house in order for us to get married since im coming from the states to marry in jordan??? just a break down of what i need to do...

Well this site is for ppl emigrating and applying for visa and you are posting under the K1 fiancé forum. I suppose that maybe someone can help you in the regional forum.

Also just to make clear, since you posted under K1, that if you get married in Jordan you can't go the K1 route, you'll have to do the CR1 spousal visa, if you at a later stage will be applying for a visa for your significant other.

thank you...im new here and i didnt know where to post....and im marrying in jordan and returning to the states and applying for the spousal visa...ill try and find info else where...sorry didnt mean to post in the wrong place....

It's no problem, I'm just directing you where you can get best help and the most information for what you need. When you get ready to file for the spousal visa there is a wealth of information on this site! Read as much as you can, check out the menus at the top of the pages there are specific guides for your route and there are ofc also specific forums. Ppl will also be very appreciative if you fill in your VisaJourney timeline when the time comes. You are in the right place, many ppl don't find this site until a way down the road and end up making mistakes that can be easily avoided if they would have done more research and asked ppl on this site who's gone through it.
