After the status of visa says issued, how long do you have to wait for the visa to be ready? Does anyone know? My fiancé works close to the pick  up location in Lagos so He was wondering if he could stop by and see if the visa and passport is ready.

I heared 3 business days ,mine has completed the 3 days am hoping to get it on monday

My fiance had her interview on Monday and she picked up her visa today . Which is 4 days after her interview . Track your passport through the ustraveldocs.com/nig . Mine says your passport is ready for pick up last night.  So.she picked it up today .

My fiancé had his interview on Wednesday.Oh I just checked on the website. Passport is ready for pick up.. since they are closed on weekends I'll have him go on Monday to collect it. 

Deeplove1111 I think you should check again it should be ready. My fiancé had his interview on Wednesday

WOW,I KEEP CHECKING MINE,IT STILL SAME THING PASSPORT IS WITH THE CONSULATE,I GUESS I DON'T NEED TO RELY ON THE WEBSITE ANYMORE,I JUST NEED TO WALK IN TO THE DHL OFFICE ON MONDAY,CEAC STATUS SAID ISSUED SINCE 31 JAN AND NOT UPDATE FROM USTRAVELDOCS

congrats on your visa approved,pls I will like to have the idea about all that they asked you during interview pls,am a Nigerian too and also going through same process now,though my case is still with NVC but it should be approved by this week.pls I will like to know what they asked you and also all that I will need to get ready for the interview.thanks

Hey shaheed.. if you don't have any red flags you should be fine. They only asked my fiancé 5 general questions like who's petitioning for you, how we met, have we ever been married, what are our plans for wedding and if we have kids.. and that was all

I would advice once it gets approved and being sent to Nigeria, give it a week then mesage lagos consulate that you will like them to email you the packets instead of mailing it to your address on file . You get it in less than 3 days instead of waiting for weeks sometimes month.

Get ready to pay 90100 for interview fee and 110000 for medical school, police report for about 8000. Medical takes about 2 weeks.

Most k1 interview don't go for that long . My fiancee had hers about a week and she was only asked the following questions. 

Who is filling for you 

How did you guys meet

What does he do . In all it took like 5 minutes interview.  

Also don't forget to mail your affidavit of support to your fiancee in Nigeria.  The embassy really pays great attention to the affidavit of support
