EAD is just for the wait for a GC. It can take sometimes over a year to get a GC, but if you get it quickly you no longer need the EAD.  Once you have a GC the EAD is useless. Restriction of Condition? ROC, Removal of conditions i.e. the conditions on the restricted GC.

You would apply for ROC of your 2 year GC. Any green card gives you right to work and travel. The only restriction is the time limit on it.
